25th Direct Combat Overhaul

This mod is an extension layer that sits on top of CRX Enfusion A.I. and Skarris CRX; pushing Reforger's AI toward the depth that defined the most respected AI projects of the Arma 3 era. CRX already gives the AI a real backbone threat observation, flanking, cover usage and 25th Direct Combat Overhaul tunes that backbone into believable, faction-aware combat. This mod takes the next step: layering in the behaviors that long-time players remember from the mods that shaped how combined-arms firefights actually feel.
The goal isn't a harder, laser-accurate enemy. It's a thinking one an opponent that suppresses, maneuvers, supports its own elements, and reacts to the battlefield the way a trained unit would.
What it brings to the fight
Suppression that matters - sustained incoming fire degrades AI accuracy and forces displacement, in the spirit of TPWCAS and LAMBS Danger.fps. Pinned units stop being target practice and start behaving like people being shot at.
Aggressive, autonomous maneuver - flanking, bounding, and group-level decision-making inspired by VCOM AI, so squads commit to an axis instead of standing and trading rounds.
Garrisoning, building clearing, and area denial - drawn from the LAMBS playbook, giving the AI purpose-driven movement through urban and structured terrain rather than open-field wandering.
Faction-aware competence - building on Skarris's training-standard philosophy and the ASR AI lineage, with perception, reaction time, and discipline that vary by faction.
Combined-arms coordination - infantry, armor, and support assets that work as a single force rather than disconnected groups, echoing the operational feel of ALiVE-style engagements.
