0.1.26
Scenario settings (server owners / Game Masters) New Rotor Framework tab in Game Master → Scenario Properties. Applies to every helicopter and every player, can be changed live, and can be set as defaults in the mission header. Flight model: Realistic / Arcade. Arcade keeps everything — engines, gauges, systems, sling loads, MP — but the rotor no longer pushes the aircraft around: no precession, no flapback, no speed-related pitching. Centre the stick and it holds the pitch and bank you left it at. No torque to fight: the main rotor doesn't try to spin you, the tail rotor only acts on pedal, and rotor damage doesn't shake the airframe. Lose the tail rotor and the spin still comes. Ground effect strength 0–100%. Yaw auto-trim / torque-droop protection / wind: airframe default, on, or off. Wind strength slider. Vortex ring state on/off. Rotor overspeed protection on/off — off lets NR run to the burst threshold in a botched autorotation. Run-up: Automatic (hold-to-start) or Advanced (full procedure only). Flight model Rotors coast down properly after shutdown instead of drifting on for minutes. UH-60 flight path stabilization. Above 60 kt it holds the airspeed you were flying, hands off. Fly it away with the cyclic and it hands the nose back; come off the stick and it keeps what you have; trim release takes the new speed. Turn coordination now comes in at 60 kt, matching the aircraft. Tweaks Added WCS armament info to MH-60 DAP variant.

0.1.18
Crew and multiplayer Fixed the copilot's cockpit actions doing nothing. Parking brake, wheel swivel lock, AFCS master and the AFCS hold modes now work from either pilot seat. Added Shadow Controls. The pilot who is not flying can pick it from the same place as Take Controls, and their cyclic, pedals, collective and wheel brakes are added to the flying pilot's — two sets of controls on one linkage. The pilot flying keeps the aircraft. An instructor can ride the controls, nudge a student out of trouble, or hold the brakes. The AFCS and brake keybinds work from that seat while shadowing. A shadowing pilot's hands and feet move with the real controls. If the pilot flying is lost — killed, knocked out, out of the seat, or disconnected — a shadowing pilot is given the controls straight away. When the lost pilot is back in a pilot seat they return as the shadow, and can keep shadowing, take the controls back, or let go. The server now notices a pilot whose connection has dropped or whose game has frozen within a second and a half, instead of waiting for the game to time them out. Everyone aboard gets a PILOT LINK LOST message and the frozen stick is centred, so nobody is left wondering why the pilot is flying into a hill. With nobody shadowing and the AFCS on, an aircraft that loses its pilot goes around by itself. It climbs away straight ahead, then settles into a standard-rate right-hand orbit at best-climb speed and keeps climbing to 10,000 ft, where it stays until somebody in a pilot seat takes the controls. The climb is torque-limited, so it never breaks the aircraft to get there. It does not start on the ground, and an aircraft with no AFCS, or with it switched off, only gets the centred stick. Flight model The pedals now move the held heading. Heading hold lets go while you are on the pedals, waits for the nose to stop after you come off them, and holds the heading you left it on — no more swinging back to the old one, which was most noticeable in Hover Hold. The selectable Heading Hold follows the pedals the same way. A steady wind no longer makes a hover far cheaper than it should. The lift "pop" you feel accelerating through translational lift is now only paid while you are actually accelerating, not for as long as the wind holds you in that speed band. Takeoffs feel the same. A hover in wind is still cheaper than in still air, from any direction — that part is real. Instruments The Performance Planning Card shows the wind — direction it is blowing from and speed in knots — and the hover torque in and out of ground effect in that wind. Go / no-go still reads the still-air hover, as the paper card does: wind can drop. The HSD shows the wind on both pages: direction and speed top right, with an arrow pointing where the air is going relative to the nose. An arrow pointing down the display is a headwind.

Performance Planning Card update New: - PPC overlay. A "VIEW PPC" cockpit action (next to the AFCS switches) toggles a Performance Planning Card over the HUD, filled for the aircraft as it is right now: gross weight, fuel, pressure altitude and air density; max and continuous torque available in dual- and single-engine columns; predicted hover torque IGE and OGE from the real aircraft's charts, corrected for density; go / no-go with margin; max allowable gross weight OGE / IGE; MTOW; max rate-of-climb / endurance IAS, max range IAS and single-engine speed band. - Cards for every airframe. H-47, H-60, MH-6J, Mi-8MT, and UH-1H. Single-engine aircraft drop the single-engine column. - Sling load on the card. Hovering within hook range of a sling load adds a block with the load's weight, the gross weight it would make, the hover torque and go / no-go at that weight - giving more confidence on capability to lift a sling load. Once hooked, the load is folded into gross weight. Changed: - Flight model changes for more accurate hover torque and cruise flight.

0.1.2
Crew and multiplayer Fixed the copilot's instrument panel staying dark. Every glass display, gauge and bar strip now reads from the left seat, not just the pilot's. Fixed the copilot being unable to start the engines. Ignition was refused for a lack of electrical power even with the battery, APU and generators visibly on. It now works from either front seat. Helicopters flown by another player no longer jitter. Position and attitude are smoothed between network updates instead of guessed ahead of them, so the view holds steady and the airspeed reads cleanly from the cabin. Flight model Strengthened turn coordination on the UH-60. It was applying about half the pedal it should in a banked turn, so the nose washed out of the turn instead of tracking around it. Made the MH-6J heavier in roll and a little heavier in pitch. It was snapping between attitudes rather than rolling into them. Known issues Crew members other than the pilot see the aircraft about a twentieth of a second behind the pilot's own view. This is what keeps the ride smooth and is not a fault. See 0.1.1 for other known issues.

0.1.1
New aircraft Added the MH-6J Little Bird. No stability augmentation of any kind, matching the real aircraft — it is quick, light and never stops asking for corrections. Added the Mi-8MT, and the AP-34B autopilot is modelled at its real authority. Includes a full electrical and hydraulic system to the Mi-8MT, including the AI-9V APU. Cold and dark, hold the start action to run the battery, APU and engine start in sequence. Ground handling Added free-castoring landing gear. The Mi-8 nose wheel and the UH-60 tailwheel now swivel to follow the ground track instead of being steered by the pedals. Fixed the pedals losing authority on the ground on aircraft with no nosewheel steering. The tail rotor turns the aircraft with the wheels down, which is how they are actually taxied. Adjusted/fixed UH-60 suspension and animation Flight model Reduced the right yaw after takeoff and after collective changes on the UH-60. Misc Separated parking brake/swivel lock actions from autopilot action context on UH-60M. For modders Added a Workbench airframe generator that builds a Rotor Framework aircraft from a donor prefab. It is a prototype and reports what it could not translate rather than guessing at it. Known issues The UH-60 tailwheel can ground-loop if you leave it unlocked at taxi speed. Lock it for running takeoffs and landings. The UH-60 still has a light right yaw after collective changes that settles after a few seconds. Rotor strikes are only registered on the main rotor hub of the MH-6J and Mi-8MT. Blade strikes and tail rotor strikes do no damage on either aircraft yet. Aircraft produce no engine audio. Engine RPM gauge on UH-1H is erratic - and is not simulated. Passengers cannot enter their seats on the CH-47.

0.1.0
Autorotation Fixed helicopters being unable to enter autorotation. Fixed rotor RPM decaying an order of magnitude too fast with the engines off. Fixed loss of pitch control around 80% NR that caused an uncommanded nose-over. Fixed cyclic not converting to disc tilt, which made an autorotative flare impossible. Fixed pitch damping cutting out while recovering from a departure. Fixed the bottom of the collective sitting at negative blade pitch, which braked the rotor when you lowered the lever. Flight model Fixed the UH-60 stabilator holding the nose down in every flight regime. Fixed rotor downwash being applied backwards to tail surfaces. Restored automatic stabilator scheduling on the UH-60. Fixed anti-torque trim fading out when you move the pedals, which made pedal response asymmetric. Fixed anti-torque feed-forward assuming hover inflow at every airspeed. Fixed the vanilla car engine running underneath the rotor simulation, causing signal conflicts and car startup audio on entering the cockpit. AFCS Fixed attitude hold flying to an attitude you never commanded after a hard manoeuvre. Fixed uncommanded roll input in forward flight caused by SCAS amplifying rotor vibration. Fixed attitude setpoints winding to their limits during long accelerations. Fixed hover deceleration oscillating instead of stopping. Fixed hover hold capturing while still nose-up, then departing the spot it captured. Fixed the aircraft sliding indefinitely with hover mode engaged instead of capturing a hover. Fixed hover hold overshooting back and forth past its position. Removed a duplicate yaw rate damper on the UH-60. Added airspeed gain scheduling for SCAS, attitude and speed modes. Added pedal expo shaping and a separate tail-rotor pedal authority taper. CH-47 Fixed uncontrollable right roll. Fixed hover position hold being unstable. Fixed fuel capacity to the real two-main, four-auxiliary arrangement. Retuned AFCS gains against the airframe's actual inertia and control power. Other Fixed engine-failure beep and warning playing the wrong, near-inaudible sound (Chinook CAAS). Cleaned debug logging. Removed unused VRS attributes from rotor config. Removed the unused ramp animation driver and rotor tip-spark component. Known Issues Anti-torque auto-trim is still not good enough on the UH-60, expect some left pedal when flying. Aircraft produce no engine audio. Engine RPM gauge on UH-1H is erratic - and is not simulated. Passengers cannot enter their seats on the CH-47.
