Realistic_Stamina_System

Realistic Stamina System (RSS) simulates energy expenditure using the Pandolf metabolic formula. ACE Medical adds bleeding, pain, health damage, and pharmaceutical intervention. Running them together without a bridge means ACE injuries have zero impact on your stamina — you can bleed out while sprinting at full speed.

This addon connects the two.

How it works:

INJURY → STAMINA COST
• Bleeding: +0–40% stamina drain rate (scales with blood loss — reduced oxygen delivery forces higher cardiac workload)
• Pain: +0–20% stamina drain rate (only while moving — pain inhibits motor unit recruitment)
• Low health: +0–30% stamina drain rate (systemic stress response elevates metabolic rate)
• Endogenous epinephrine: the body's natural stress response partially offsets these costs (~95% compensation for light injuries, ~40% for severe)

TREATMENT → STAMINA RECOVERY
• Bleeding stops → stamina drain drops → recovery accelerates
• Health rises → stamina pool recovers faster

PHARMACEUTICALS
• ACE Epinephrine injection: 60s stamina boost + speed bonus, followed by 30s metabolic penalty
• ACE Morphine: pain suppression is handled by ACE natively — the compat layer reads the suppressed value automatically

Design:
• Pure compatibility layer — modifies neither RSS nor ACE source code
• ACE's effects are expressed as multipliers on RSS's base drain rate, not flat stamina deductions. Stand still (RSS drain ≈ 0) → ACE adds ≈ 0. Sprint hard → ACE cost scales proportionally
• ACE not loaded? All casts return null, compat layer goes silent. RSS runs unmodified
• Affects all characters — players and AI alike
• Does not conflict with RSS's combat stim (caffeine-sodium benzoate)
