PLG Performance Optimization is a lightweight VFX optimization addon focused on reducing the cost of selected particle effects used during normal gameplay.

The addon adjusts heavy smoke, destruction debris, vehicle fire, exhaust smoke, blast effects, and several commonly reused prop destruction effects to improve framerate and reduce visual overload in larger fights.

The goal is not to redesign the game’s visuals, but to keep the original look and gameplay readability while lowering the heaviest particle counts where they matter most.

This addon does not aim to change gameplay balance, vehicle behavior, damage, or mechanics. It only targets selected visual effects for better performance.

Current optimization areas include vehicle smoke and fire effects, building destruction debris, generic explosion particles, blast effects, and commonly reused destruction VFX for props and structures.

PLG Performance Optimization

Optimizes selected particle and VFX effects to improve performance by reducing heavy smoke, debris, fire, and destruction effects while keeping the original visual style as close as possible.
