REA FastMuteVoiceChannel

Voice chat in Arma Reforger is useful, but sometimes you need silence fast without digging through menus. This mod gives you a dedicated toggle so you can mute or restore voice chat with one action while you play.

When you mute with the toggle, the game’s Voice Channel volume is set to zero in the audio settings, so what you hear matches what the settings show. When you toggle again, your previous voice level comes back.

A small message in the centre of the screen tells you what happened: muted, unmuted, or that voice is disabled because the slider is at 0% in settings.

How it behaves
- Voice volume above 0% in Audio settings: You can use the hotkey to mute and unmute as much as you like; your last level before mute is remembered.
- Voice volume set to 0% in the menu: The mod treats that as “I turned voice off here.” The hotkey will not switch you back until you raise Voice Channel volume in Audio settings again; you’ll see a short message explaining that.

What you need to know
- You must assign the key (or button) for the mod’s action in the game’s controls / key bindings, the same way you set other actions.
- The mod is meant for your local voice level and settings; it does not change how other players hear you unless the game already works that way for volume.
