Description

DAD_DisconnectHide
Prevents ghost players and server instability caused by disconnecting players leaving visible, traceable entities in the world.
What it does:
When a player disconnects, their entity is kept alive to preserve persistence and reconnection data — but after a short delay it is hidden from the world and removed from all traces. This stops other players from seeing, shooting at, or interacting with a dead disconnected player's body, and prevents AI from targeting them.
Features:
Hides disconnected player entities after a 5 second grace period
Removes entities from visual and trace detection
Preserves underlying entity data for reconnection/persistence compatibility
Guards against server crashes caused by invalid or mid-deletion entity states
Skips redundant replication traffic if entity is already hidden
Server-side only — zero performance impact on clients
Compatibility:
Modded via SCR_BaseGameMode — compatible with most game modes. Conflict risk is low but load this mod early in your mod list to ensure the override applies correctly.

Vanilla Arma Reforger leaves disconnected player entities fully visible and traceable, which can cause immersion issues, AI targeting problems, and in some edge cases server instability during high player turnover. This mod cleanly solves that with minimal overhead.
