IMPORTANT:
This License applies only to original content owned or lawfully controlled by the copyright holder.
Third-party content, including Bohemia Interactive content and content distributed under separate licenses, remains governed by its respective license terms.
This License does not replace, override, modify, or supersede any applicable Bohemia Interactive End User License Agreement, Workshop Terms of Service, Game Content Usage Rules, platform terms, or other mandatory rules applicable to Arma Reforger.
Where any provision of this License conflicts with mandatory applicable law or binding Bohemia Interactive terms, such mandatory law or binding terms shall prevail to the minimum extent necessary.
1. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this License:
"Mod" means the Life RP Classic Arma Reforger modification and all original content distributed as part of it, including, without limitation, scripts, source code, compiled code, configurations, prefabs, UI layouts, interfaces, icons, textures, graphics, audio, models, animations, data structures, databases, documentation, gameplay systems, server systems, original written content, and other original materials owned or controlled by the copyright holder.
"Authorized Server" means a Life RP Classic server directly operated by the copyright holder or a server expressly authorized in writing by the copyright holder.
A server is not an Authorized Server merely because it:
- uses the Life RP Classic name;
- uses the Mod;
- was previously authorized;
- is operated by a former contributor;
- is operated by a community member;
- is private or password-protected;
- is non-commercial;
- is technically capable of loading the Mod.
"Official Distribution Channel" means the Arma Reforger Workshop entry or another distribution channel expressly designated by the copyright holder.
"User" means any person who downloads, installs, accesses, executes, possesses, or otherwise uses the Mod.
2. LIMITED LICENSE GRANT
Subject to full compliance with this License, the copyright holder grants the User a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:
a) download the packaged Mod through an Official Distribution Channel; and
b) execute and use the packaged Mod solely for the purpose of connecting to and playing on an Authorized Server.
No ownership rights are transferred.
No rights are granted except those expressly stated in this Section.
3. AUTHORIZED SERVER USE ONLY
The Mod may be used only in connection with an Authorized Server.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the copyright holder, the User may not:
- host the Mod on another server;
- install the Mod on another server;
- operate a server using the Mod;
- use the Mod on a private server;
- use the Mod on a public server;
- use the Mod on a development server;
- use the Mod on a testing server;
- use the Mod on a staging server;
- use the Mod on a LAN server;
- use the Mod on a local server;
- use the Mod in an offline server environment;
- use the Mod on a dedicated server;
- use the Mod for demonstrations or training;
- use the Mod as part of another server project;
- use any portion of the Mod on another server.
The fact that a server is free, private, temporary, non-commercial, invite-only, password-protected, or accessible to only one person does not make such use authorized.
4. AUTOMATIC CLIENT DOWNLOAD
The copyright holder expressly permits the automatic downloading, installation, updating, caching, and execution of the packaged Mod by Arma Reforger or an Official Distribution Channel where technically necessary for a User to connect to and play on an Authorized Server.
This permission does not grant any additional right to copy, extract, redistribute, modify, inspect, repurpose, or separately use the Mod.
5. NO REDISTRIBUTION
Except for distribution performed through an Official Distribution Channel by or on behalf of the copyright holder, the Mod may not be redistributed.
Without written permission, the User may not:
- upload the Mod to another Workshop entry;
- mirror the Mod;
- re-upload the Mod;
- distribute copies of the Mod;
- publish archived copies;
- publish previous versions;
- share packaged files directly with other persons;
- include the Mod in a modpack;
- include the Mod in a server pack;
- include the Mod in a launcher package;
- include the Mod in a compilation;
- include the Mod in another addon;
- distribute extracted portions of the Mod;
- redistribute modified or unmodified versions.
6. NO MODIFICATION OR DERIVATIVE WORKS
The User may not modify, adapt, alter, patch, translate, port, convert, extend, reduce, rearrange, merge, repurpose, repackage, or otherwise transform the Mod or any original component of it.
The User may not create or distribute:
- modified versions;
- forks;
- unofficial patches;
- compatibility patches;
- ports;
- conversions;
- remakes;
- recreations;
- derivatives;
- adaptations;
- server-specific versions;
- standalone versions;
based on protected original material contained in the Mod.
7. NO SOURCE CODE OR ASSET REUSE
The User may not copy, reproduce, extract, reuse, republish, incorporate, adapt, translate, or distribute original protected material from the Mod in another project.
This includes, without limitation:
- scripts;
- source code;
- code fragments;
- original algorithms as expressed in code;
- configuration files;
- prefabs;
- original UI layouts;
- interface assets;
- icons;
- textures;
- models;
- animations;
- sound assets;
- written content;
- documentation;
- original database structures;
- original server systems.
This prohibition applies whether such material is copied:
- verbatim;
- partially;
- with renamed variables;
- reformatted;
- translated into another programming language;
- rewritten while retaining protected expression;
- incorporated into another addon;
- incorporated into another server project.
Nothing in this Section claims exclusive rights over general ideas, concepts, methods, mechanics, or functionality where such rights are not granted by applicable intellectual property law.
8. NO REVERSE ENGINEERING BEYOND MANDATORY RIGHTS
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the User may not:
- reverse engineer the Mod;
- decompile the Mod;
- disassemble the Mod;
- decode the Mod;
- defeat encryption or obfuscation;
- circumvent technical protection measures;
- extract source-like representations from packaged content;
- reconstruct protected implementation details from packaged content.
This restriction does not apply to acts that applicable law expressly permits and does not allow the copyright holder to prohibit by contract.
Any such legally permitted activity must remain within the exact scope permitted by applicable law and does not grant permission to redistribute, publish, or reuse copyrighted material.
9. NO EXTRACTION FOR SEPARATE USE
The User may not extract original assets or files from the Mod for separate use.
This includes, without limitation:
- scripts;
- layouts;
- textures;
- images;
- icons;
- logos;
- models;
- sounds;
- configuration files;
- prefabs;
- database files;
- documentation;
- original data.
Possession of an extracted file does not grant permission to use it.
10. NO DEPENDENCY USE
Without prior written authorization, the Mod may not be used as:
- a dependency;
- a required addon;
- an optional addon;
- a framework dependency;
- a server dependency;
- an API dependency;
- a library dependency;
for another modification, server, addon, framework, tool, or software project.
The User may not publish software whose intended operation requires unauthorized use of the Mod.
11. NO UNAUTHORIZED INTEGRATION
The User may not create or distribute software specifically intended to:
- override the Mod;
- inject code into the Mod;
- patch the Mod;
- replace portions of the Mod;
- extend protected Mod functionality through unauthorized modification;
- bypass restrictions implemented by the Mod;
- enable unauthorized server use;
- circumvent authorization mechanisms.
This Section does not prohibit ordinary interaction performed by Arma Reforger itself as necessary to load the Mod on an Authorized Server.
12. NO UNAUTHORIZED SERVER REHOSTING
The User may not recreate, clone, reproduce, or operate an unauthorized server using the Mod or protected portions of the Mod.
The User may not represent an unauthorized server as:
- official;
- affiliated;
- licensed;
- approved;
- endorsed;
- operated by;
- associated with
Life RP Classic or the copyright holder.
13. NO COMMERCIAL EXPLOITATION
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the copyright holder and permitted under all applicable Bohemia Interactive terms, the User may not commercially exploit the Mod.
This includes, without limitation:
- selling the Mod;
- licensing the Mod;
- renting access to the Mod;
- selling copies;
- selling access to unauthorized servers using the Mod;
- monetizing unauthorized derivative versions;
- charging for redistribution;
- selling extracted assets;
- sublicensing any rights under this License.
Nothing in this License grants commercial rights that would conflict with Bohemia Interactive's applicable terms.
14. BRANDING AND IDENTITY
No license is granted to use the Life RP Classic name, logos, original branding, insignia, server identity, visual identity, project branding, or other protected identifiers except as reasonably necessary to refer to the official project.
The User may not use such branding in a way that suggests false:
- authorization;
- endorsement;
- affiliation;
- partnership;
- official status.
15. PUBLIC AVAILABILITY DOES NOT GRANT ADDITIONAL RIGHTS
The following circumstances do not grant permission beyond this License:
- public Workshop availability;
- automatic game download;
- possession of packaged files;
- possession of cached files;
- technical ability to access files;
- absence of technical protection;
- visibility of file names;
- visibility of scripts or data;
- previous failure to enforce this License;
- another person's unauthorized use;
- accidental disclosure;
- leaked materials;
- access granted for testing;
- former contributor status.
Technical possibility does not constitute legal permission.
16. DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNAL MATERIALS
Any source files, development builds, debug builds, repositories, internal documentation, unfinished content, testing material, unpublished content, or other non-public project materials remain confidential and proprietary unless expressly released by the copyright holder.
Access to such material does not grant permission to:
- copy it;
- publish it;
- redistribute it;
- modify it;
- reuse it;
- incorporate it into another project.
17. THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL
This License applies only to material owned or lawfully controlled by the copyright holder.
The Mod may contain, reference, depend upon, or interact with third-party material governed by separate terms.
Such material may include:
- Bohemia Interactive content;
- Arma Reforger content;
- licensed third-party assets;
- third-party libraries;
- externally licensed code;
- fonts;
- audio;
- trademarks;
- APIs.
All such material remains governed by the applicable owner's terms.
Nothing in this License:
- changes a third-party license;
- claims ownership of third-party material;
- removes rights granted by a third-party license;
- imposes this proprietary license on material where the copyright holder lacks authority to do so.
18. BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE TERMS
Use of the Mod requires compliance with all applicable Bohemia Interactive terms governing Arma Reforger, its Workshop, tools, services, and game content.
This includes, where applicable:
- End User License Agreements;
- Workshop Terms of Service;
- Game Content Usage Rules;
- tool licenses;
- platform requirements;
- applicable content licenses.
If Bohemia Interactive requires a particular treatment of specific content, that requirement takes precedence over inconsistent provisions of this License with respect to that content.
19. SCREENSHOTS, VIDEOS, STREAMING, AND COMMENTARY
Users may create ordinary screenshots, gameplay recordings, livestreams, reviews, and commentary showing authorized gameplay on an Authorized Server, subject to applicable Bohemia Interactive rules and server rules.
This permission does not include the right to:
- distribute Mod files;
- publish extracted assets;
- distribute source code;
- distribute packaged data;
- publish confidential development material;
- redistribute copyrighted components separately from ordinary gameplay footage.
20. SECURITY AND ACCESS CONTROL
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the User may not intentionally bypass or defeat technical measures implemented to restrict:
- unauthorized server use;
- unauthorized distribution;
- unauthorized modification;
- unauthorized access;
- integrity verification;
- authentication;
- licensing;
- server authorization.
The User may not knowingly distribute tools primarily intended to enable prohibited use of the Mod.
21. CONTRIBUTIONS
A person who contributes code, assets, testing, documentation, or other material to the project does not automatically receive ownership, redistribution rights, server hosting rights, or licensing authority over the entire Mod.
Rights relating to contributions are governed by any separate agreement between the contributor and the copyright holder.
Unless expressly granted in writing, contributor status does not authorize operation of an independent Life RP Classic server or distribution of the Mod.
22. WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION
Where this License requires "written authorization" or "written permission", such authorization must be issued by the copyright holder or a person expressly authorized to act on the copyright holder's behalf.
The following do not constitute written authorization unless they expressly grant the relevant right:
- casual conversation;
- server membership;
- Discord membership;
- access to development channels;
- testing access;
- contributor access;
- administrator status;
- technical access to files;
- possession of project files.
23. REVOCATION
Any permission specifically granted by the copyright holder may be revoked according to the terms under which that permission was granted and to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Authorization of a particular server does not create permanent authorization unless expressly stated in writing.
24. TERMINATION
The license granted under Section 2 automatically terminates if the User materially violates this License.
After termination, the User must cease unauthorized use of the Mod.
Termination does not eliminate rights or remedies available to the copyright holder for prior violations.
Automatic files retained by Arma Reforger, the Workshop platform, caches, or backups need not be manually removed where removal is technically unavailable or where retention is required by applicable law or platform operation, provided they are not subsequently used in violation of this License.
25. ENFORCEMENT
The copyright holder reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law in relation to unauthorized copying, modification, redistribution, server use, or other infringement.
Failure to enforce this License against one violation does not waive the right to enforce it against that violation later or against other violations.
26. NO WARRANTY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE MOD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE MOD WILL:
- FUNCTION WITHOUT ERROR;
- REMAIN AVAILABLE;
- REMAIN COMPATIBLE WITH FUTURE ARMA REFORGER VERSIONS;
- REMAIN COMPATIBLE WITH THIRD-PARTY MODIFICATIONS;
- REMAIN AVAILABLE ON ANY PARTICULAR SERVER OR DISTRIBUTION PLATFORM.
27. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE MOD.
Nothing in this License excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
28. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this License is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or interpreted to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid where legally possible.
The remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
29. NO WAIVER
Failure or delay in exercising any right under this License does not constitute a waiver of that right.
A waiver relating to one violation does not constitute a waiver relating to another violation.
30. NO TRANSFER
The User may not assign, transfer, sublicense, sell, delegate, or otherwise transfer rights granted under this License.
31. FUTURE VERSIONS
The copyright holder may release future versions of the Mod under revised license terms.
The version of this License distributed with a particular release governs that release, except where otherwise required by applicable law or platform rules.
32. ENTIRE LICENSE
This License constitutes the license granted by the copyright holder for the original protected material covered by it, except where a separate written agreement expressly grants additional rights.
Third-party licenses and mandatory platform terms remain separate and continue to apply.
33. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
All rights not expressly granted under this License are reserved.
For avoidance of doubt, unless separately authorized in writing:

YOU MAY USE IT TO CONNECT TO AND PLAY ON AN AUTHORIZED LIFE RP CLASSIC SERVER.
YOU MAY NOT HOST IT ON AN UNAUTHORIZED SERVER.
YOU MAY NOT REDISTRIBUTE IT.
YOU MAY NOT REPUBLISH IT.
YOU MAY NOT MODIFY IT.
YOU MAY NOT CREATE DERIVATIVE VERSIONS FROM PROTECTED ORIGINAL MATERIAL.
YOU MAY NOT COPY OR REUSE ITS ORIGINAL SOURCE CODE OR ASSETS.
YOU MAY NOT INCLUDE IT IN ANOTHER MOD OR MODPACK.
YOU MAY NOT USE IT AS A DEPENDENCY OF ANOTHER PROJECT.
YOU MAY NOT CIRCUMVENT SERVER AUTHORIZATION OR TECHNICAL PROTECTION MEASURES.
