ATM – Driver Only Third Person is a lightweight, standalone mod that restricts third-person view (TPV) to the actual vehicle driver or pilot only, while enforcing first-person view in all other situations.

The objective is to improve immersion, fairness, and realism without negatively impacting vehicle handling or usability.

How It Works
The mod hooks into the character camera system and evaluates the player’s active vehicle compartment slot using vanilla Arma Reforger systems.

* Third-person view is automatically
* Disabled when the player is on foot
* Disabled for passengers
* Disabled for gunners
* Disabled for commanders
* Enabled only when the player occupies a true driver or pilot slot

This implementation does not rely on internal or inaccessible base game scripts and functions entirely as a standalone solution.

Note: Vehicles that do not correctly define their driver seat as a “piloting” compartment will have third-person view disabled by design, in order to preserve gameplay consistency.
