Summary
M16A2-H "Executioner" Heavy Ordinance Variant
Description
The M16A2-H is a radical, over-engineered evolution of the standard service rifle, redesigned from the ground up to serve as a man-portable anti-armor platform. While it retains the ergonomic furniture and carry-handle silhouette of the original A2, the receiver has been massiveley upscaled and reinforced with tungsten-steel alloys to accommodate the transition from intermediate rifle rounds to devastating 25mm autocannon shells.
In a departure from the traditional three-round burst limiter, this variant features a modified trigger group with a dedicated full-auto sear, allowing for a sustained, thundering rate of fire. To feed this hungry system, the rifle utilizes a specialized 900-round powered backpack feed system, which replaces standard magazines with a continuous high-capacity belt. Each 25mm projectile is tipped with a high-explosive incendiary (HEI) charge, capable of punching through light APC plating and neutralizing fortified positions with a single volley. Despite its heavy-duty role, the "Executioner" retains the familiar matte black finish and polymer handguards of its predecessor, disguising the raw power of a vehicle-mounted cannon in a shoulder-fired frame.
