Project Nó Górdio – Portuguese Colonial War
Project Nó Górdio is a historical-themed Arma Reforger mod centered on the Portuguese Colonial War and the unique style of combat fought across Sub-Saharan Africa during the mid-20th century. The project emphasizes atmosphere, authenticity, and grounded gameplay, placing players into a conflict defined by counter-insurgency operations, long patrols, and unpredictable engagements in dense terrain.
The mod is built with a focus on period-appropriate gear, uniforms, and weapons, encouraging tactics that reflect the realities of bush warfare rather than conventional frontline battles. Movement through thick vegetation, limited visibility, and sudden contact with the enemy are key elements of the experience.
Project Nó Górdio is designed to be flexible and modular, allowing it to be used in a variety of scenarios and terrains that suit African Cold War environments.
