# ARGH-METABOLISM


Standalone metabolism system extracted from ARGHSURVIVORS. Provides hydration/energy drain, starvation/dehydration damage, blood/health effects, stamina lockout, and a dedicated HUD with water/food/stamina/blood/health readouts.

- Starvation/dehydration damage plus blood loss scaling

## Configuration
- `Configs/Systems/ARGH_Metabolism.conf` controls drain rates, multipliers, damage, regen, and thresholds.
- `UI/layouts/HUD/Metabolism/MetabolismHUD.layout` controls the on-screen UI.


## Integration notes
- Add ARGH-METABOLISM as a dependency in any mod that uses the metabolism system.
- Register `ARGH_CharacterControllerMetabolismSerializer` in your persistence config if you want hydration/energy to save across sessions.
- Use `FM_FoodWaterComponent` on consumables and `FM_DrinkWaterPlayerAction` on water sources to feed hydration/energy changes.
