This mod revolutionizes medical gameplay in Arma Reforger milsim, making medics absolutely essential for squad survival in intense firefights. Here's how it transforms the battlefield:
1. Medics: Ultra-Fast Ally Lifesavers
- Medics bandage 'wounded allies in just 5 seconds' (vs. vanilla ~30s+!).
- Result: Critical bleeds stopped instantly → Squads bounce back from casualties and push immediately, no massive downtime.
- Balanced self-heal (25s): Medics can't quick-heal themselves, forcing mutual protection or buddy-aid.
- Key twist: The same bandage has radically different effectiveness depending on who uses it—medics are lightning-fast on allies, non-medics crawl at vanilla speeds!
2. Non-Medics: Struggle & Forced Specialization
- Regular soldiers keep vanilla slow times → Bandaging an ally takes forever (by default 15s), risking the wounded's death (and the healer's exposure!).
- Major tactical shift: No more "everyone solos heals." Players scream "MEDIC!" constantly → Mandatory teamplay, medics get priority escorts.
3. Battlefield Transformation
- Heightened pressure: Medics become HVTs (High Value Targets) → Enemies hunt them to cripple fast heals.
- Meta for assaults: Rush an enemy medic = squad wipe. Protect yours = decisive edge.
- Perfectly balanced: Not globally OP, just role-specialized → Medics carry team heals, riflemen cover.
4. Easy Customization: Edit Directly in Bandage Prefab
- All values tweakable right in the base bandage prefab!
- Open your bandage prefab (e.g., `Bandage.prefab`).
- Go to the SCR_ConsumableBandage component.
- Intuitive sliders:

5. Role Detection: Simple Prefab Name
- Tied to the bandage user's character prefab name!
- Ex: Medic prefab `US_Medic_01.prefab` with keyword "Medic" → Auto-detected (case-insensitive).
- Pro tip: In your ''Loadout Manager prefab'', directly add desired role prefabs (e.g., `Medic_Loadout.prefab`).
- No complex scripts → Just rename loadout prefabs with the keyword → Ready in 2 minutes!
Medics go from "nice-to-have" to 'absolute must-have'. Squads without one? Good luck pushing! Proven in multiplayer: Express heals change EVERYTHING. Ideal for Conflict or Game Master. 🚑💥License
