Summary
Faircoft Islands Invasion
Description
In 1983, Soviet Naval Infantry launch a surprise amphibious assault on the Faircroft Islands, a small British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic. Local defence units are quickly overwhelmed and Moscow claims the occupation is to “secure maritime interests.”
London declares the invasion an act of war and orders a task force to retake the islands. As the conflict escalates, British forces fight to liberate the settlements, ports and airfields across Faircroft.
