Summary

On-call AI helicopter extraction, fast-rope insertion, supply drops, a gunship escort and an armed AI ground convoy (QRF) for every player. Call them from chat, radio, command menu or map.

Description

SkyCab Extraction puts AI support on call for every player: a helicopter that picks you up, flies you anywhere, ropes you into the forest or drops you supplies, a gunship that covers your LZ, and a QRF convoy of armed vehicles that fights its way to you. The crews fly, drive and shoot; you just call. Made by Warhawk Division for its own servers.

FOUR CALL SIGNS
Chariot - transport helicopter: pickups, rides anywhere on the map, fast-rope insertion and arsenal box drops.
Dustoff - the same helicopter on a medical flight. The crew stops your bleeding on the way, and you're fully healed when it sets you down at a friendly base.
Sabre - gunship escort: a door-gun helicopter circles your LZ and its gunners engage the enemy, holding fire near friendlies.
Bulldog - QRF ground convoy: AI gun vehicles drive to you on the roads, fight while you mount up and drive you to base. Or they hold your position with you for 5 minutes.

FIVE WAYS TO CALL (PC AND CONSOLE)
- Chat (PC): /extract, /lift, /dustoff, /resupply, /qrf, /qrf hold, /flyto, /land, /rtb, /waveoff, /comein, /status.
- Radio menu: hold your switched-on radio and inspect it (R / Y / Triangle), then pick a SkyCab call.
- Command menu: hold ` (PC) or D-pad right + LB/L1 (controller), open SkyCab > Chariot, Dustoff, QRF or Status.
- Map menu: right-click (PC) or X/Square (controller) a spot on the map > SkyCab > Pick up here, Resupply here, Fly here or Hold here.
- Your own buttons: Settings > Controls > SkyCab. None are set by default.

THE HELICOPTER
- Throw signal smoke within 50 m and it lands on it. At night a green flare marks the LZ; a red one says it's hot. Or pick the spot on the map.
- It picks the most open clear ground, plans its approach over the lowest trees and comes in low and slow. Nothing clear near you, it lands up to 250 m away and marks it on your map. It won't land on people standing on the spot.
- 90 seconds to board. Send it to any map marker by name, "Fly here" on the map, or the nearest base. /land sets it down now.
- Fast-rope: /flyto <marker> rope. It hovers over the trees and you rope down to open ground it has checked: no rocks, walls or roofs.
- Want cover? Add escort to the call (/extract escort) and Sabre comes too; on most servers it also comes by itself when your helicopter is shot at.
- Not ready? /extract standby holds it 2 km out until you call it in. Dustoff takes urgent, priority or routine. Bad weather slows it; a storm keeps it home.
- /resupply lands full arsenal boxes by its doors (US troops also get a Russian one).
- Under fire it goes evasive, comes in hot on final, and aborts if badly damaged. It can be shot down.

THE QRF CONVOY
- Picks you up on the nearest road (within 300 m), marked QRF PICKUP. It arrives from out of sight, stops short of the marker and halts for anyone in its way.
- On site its guns cover the area: 120 seconds to mount up, or move out early with /rtb.
- After the drop-off it drives away out of sight. Players can never drive or keep a QRF vehicle.
- If the convoy can't get through, it turns back and your cooldown is not charged.

RADIO AND RULES
- Every call is answered by a recorded voice over the radio and in chat.
- Tune a switched-on radio to 50 MHz to follow your side's helicopters and QRF. The caller and passengers always hear their own ride, and only they give orders.
- You need a radio, switched on, to call. Passengers don't.
- After your run ends you wait 5 minutes before calling again. /status shows when.

FOR SERVER ADMINS
- Script mod: works on Conflict, modded Conflict and custom scenarios, with vanilla or modded factions. Depends only on Arma Reforger.
- Everything is set in profile/SkyCab/config.json, written on first run and updated automatically: helicopters and gunships per faction, limits, radio frequencies, approach, weather, fast-rope, escort rules, supply crates, Dustoff care and every QRF setting.
- Admins and Game Masters: /skycab reload, set, list, clear, send <player> <call>.
- The QRF uses the vehicles listed in config.json; their mod must be loaded. It needs maps with roads and vehicle navmesh.
- Every call is written to the server log with the prefix [SkyCab].

SKYCAB EXTRACTION LICENSE

Version 1.1, October 2026

Copyright (c) 2026 Warhawk Division. All rights reserved.

This license covers the Arma Reforger mod SkyCab_Extraction (Workshop name SkyCab Extraction)
and its bridge addon WD_SkyCab_ServiceRecord, including their scripts, configuration files,
documentation and any future updates published under this license (together, the "Mod").
"Warhawk Division", "we" and "us" mean the Warhawk Division gaming community that publishes the
Mod. "You" means anyone who downloads, installs or uses it.

1. WHAT YOU MAY DO

1. Play on our servers. You may download, install and load the Mod only so that you can join
and play on game servers run by or for Warhawk Division ("Authorized Servers"). Arma Reforger
downloads the Mod automatically when you join one, and that is permitted.
2. Bohemia Interactive may host, distribute and display the Mod on the Arma Reforger Workshop.
Nothing in this license limits any right Bohemia Interactive has under the Arma Reforger End
User License Agreement, the Arma Reforger Tools End User License Agreement or the Arma
   Reforger Workshop Terms of Use.

Everything not listed in this section is reserved by Warhawk Division.

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

Unless Warhawk Division gives you written permission first, you may not:

1. Run, host or load the Mod on any server other than an Authorized Server.
2. Copy, modify, adapt, translate, decompile, or extract the Mod's scripts or other files, or
   create derivative works from it.
3. Re-upload, mirror, repack or redistribute the Mod, in whole or in part, including inside
mod packs, other mods, or as a dependency of another mod.
4. Use the Mod, or anything made from it, commercially, or monetize it directly or indirectly.
This includes charging for access, putting it behind paid perks, selling it, or using it to
promote a paid product or service.
5. Use the Mod, or any part of it, outside games and products made by Bohemia Interactive.
6. Use the Mod for anything other than entertainment and recreation, for example for real-world
military, professional, occupational or educational training.
7. Remove or change this license or any copyright notice in the Mod.

3. DATA THE MOD RECORDS

1. Server log. On Authorized Servers the Mod writes lines to the game server's own log file when
someone uses it: the player ID and in-game name of the player who used a SkyCab command (by
chat, radio, menu or button), which command it was and any text typed after it, the map
positions involved (landing zones, the home base, the helicopter and convoy), the radio
messages the helicopter and convoy sent, and a summary of each finished run (see 3). Warhawk
Division server staff use these lines to find and fix problems.
2. Running totals. The Mod counts, for the whole server, how many runs, passengers, casualties
healed, supply crates and lost helicopters and convoys there have been, and shows them in
/status. These totals contain no player information. Depending on the server's settings they
are kept in memory only or saved in a file on the server.
3. Service record. When the server also runs the Warhawk Division bridge addon WD_SkyCab_ServiceRecord
together with WD_ServiceRecord, a summary of each finished helicopter or convoy run is passed
to WD_ServiceRecord, which sends it to the Warhawk Division website. The summary holds: which
service it was (transport, medical, supply or convoy), how it ended, the side it served, how
long it took, how many casualties were healed and crates dropped, and, for the player who
called it and for each player who rode in it, their Bohemia account identity ID and in-game
name. The website uses it to show service records and statistics for players and the
community. Without that bridge addon the Mod sends nothing off the server.

The Mod does not record IP addresses, chat messages other than its own commands, voice, or
anything from your computer. How Warhawk Division handles its server logs and website data is set
out in the Privacy Policy on the Warhawk Division website.

4. BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE

The Mod is published on the Arma Reforger Workshop and must be used in line with the Arma Reforger
End User License Agreement, the Arma Reforger Tools End User License Agreement and the Workshop

license grants no rights in Bohemia Interactive's games, tools or content. Bohemia Interactive is
not a party to this license and is not responsible for the Mod.

5. OTHER MODS

The Mod can be set to use helicopters, characters or factions from other Workshop mods that a
server already loads. Those mods remain their authors' property and are covered by their own
licenses. This license grants no rights in them, and the Mod contains none of their files.

including loss of game progress, characters, equipment, vehicles, data, or server performance.

9. FUTURE VERSIONS

Warhawk Division may publish future versions of the Mod under a different license, including a more
open one such as the Arma Public License Share Alike (APL-SA). Each version is covered by the
license it was published with.

10. GOVERNING LAW

This license is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, matching the Warhawk
Division website's Terms of Use.

This license was drafted for a hobby community and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
