In the rugged mountains of Kunar Province, Opération ÉQUILIBRE thrusts the French Foreign Legion into a high-stakes effort to stabilize a fractured region following the failure of previous covert operations by U.S. special forces. With Taliban splinter extremist factions (OPFOR) entrenched in the central highlands and a shadow government (GREENFOR) holding the north, NATO support has receded — leaving the Legion to secure the southern sector, mend diplomatic fractures, and suppress insurgent influence.
