Description
OSWS Medical Rework transforms Arma Reforger’s medical system into a faster, more immersive, and more team-driven experience.
Tourniquets and bandages work together to control bleeding. A tourniquet now stops 99% of blood loss but requires a bandage to permanently close the wound. Tourniquets are fast to apply (4 seconds on self, 2 seconds on others), allowing players to stabilize quickly and get back into the fight. Bandages take longer (10 seconds on self, 6 seconds on others), making both time and teamwork critical under fire.
Players never instantly die; they enter an unconscious state where further injury can kill them. This gives teammates the chance to intervene, stabilize, and recover casualties instead of losing them to quick respawns, keeping squads together and reducing the need to regroup at MOB.
The updated injury check UI reveals where a casualty is bleeding, reducing menu time and giving medics the information they need at a glance. The result is a system that rewards coordination, realistic triage, and squad cohesion while raising the stakes of every firefight.
