Vehicle Delay Spawner
A lightweight, server-only vehicle spawner component for Arma Reforger.
Description
This component allows mission makers to place a simple spawner entity that will spawn a vehicle after a configurable delay, automatically respawn it when destroyed, and optionally prevent spawning if the area is not clear. Designed to be drop-in, performant, and safe for dedicated servers.
Known Limitations
The spawner detects respawn conditions based on entity removal. If a destroyed vehicle leaves behind a wreck that is not fully deleted by the game or another mod, respawn may be delayed until the original entity is cleaned up.
Area-clear checks use a radius-based query at spawn time. Extremely large radii may increase spawn delay or block spawning if the area is frequently occupied.
The component does not distinguish between friendly or enemy vehicles when checking area clearance.
The component is server-authoritative only; vehicles are spawned exclusively by the server to ensure multiplayer stability.
This component does not manage vehicle loadouts, inventories, or crew — those must be handled by the vehicle prefab or other systems.
Designed for one active vehicle per spawner entity. Multiple simultaneous spawns require multiple spawner instances.
