Description
The Thunder Buddies Whitelist Mod is a lightweight and flexible server access control system designed specifically for ease of use and minimal setup. This project marks the rebirth of a previously shelved concept that has now been fully developed and pushed forward despite the complexity involved.
At launch, the mod operates without an external API, relying on manual JSON whitelist entries for player access management. This allows server owners to maintain full control while keeping the system simple and reliable. In addition to JSON editing, administrators can also manage whitelist entries directly through the in game settings tab, providing an easier server side configuration method.
The mod is built to function without any Workbench implementations and does not require scenario editing. This means server owners can install and configure the whitelist system quickly without modifying existing missions or scenarios.
Future updates will introduce Discord API integration, allowing communities to connect their Discord servers and handle whitelist verification directly through Discord. This will streamline access management and automate the approval process.

THUNDER BUDDIES STUDIOS – END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of all mods (“Mod” or “Mods”) published by Thunder Buddies Studios and created by Thunder Buddies Studios (“Author”, “Creator”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using this Mod, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
1. Ownership
All Mods are the intellectual property of Thunder Buddies Studios, created by Thunder Buddies Studios. This Agreement grants a limited license and does not transfer ownership.
2. License Grant
This Mod is licensed under Bohemia Interactive’s Arma Public License (APL), subject to the additional restrictions in this Agreement.
You are permitted to:
• Use the Mod for personal and non-commercial gameplay
• Run the Mod on private or public servers in compliance with this Agreement
• Create derivative works, subject to Section 5
3. ABSOLUTE PROHIBITION ON MONETIZATION
Under no circumstances may this Mod, or any portion of it, be used for monetization.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Paid access to servers
• Priority queues, reserved slots, or VIP features
• Donations, subscriptions, or financial benefits tied to gameplay access or advantages
• Indirect monetization, paywalls, or bundled commercial services
This restriction applies regardless of modification status.
Any violation immediately terminates this license.
4. Redistribution
You may not reupload or redistribute this Mod in original or modified form, including as part of mod packs or collections, without prior written permission from Thunder Buddies Studios.
Linking to the original Workshop page is permitted.
5. Derivative Works
Derivative works are permitted, provided that all of the following conditions are met:
• Derivative works must remain non-commercial
• They may not be monetized in any form
• They may not be reuploaded or publicly distributed without written permission from Thunder Buddies Studios
• All derivative works must provide clear credit to Thunder Buddies Studios
• No attempt may be made to claim original authorship over any portion of the Mod
Private server use and personal projects are allowed under these conditions.
6. No Support Obligation
This Mod is provided “AS IS”, without warranty or guarantee of support or future updates.
7. Termination
Any breach of this Agreement results in immediate and automatic termination of this license.
Upon termination, all copies must be removed and use must cease immediately.
8. Reservation of Rights
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Thunder Buddies Studios.
9. Acceptance
By using this Mod, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
10. Prohibited Communities and Individuals
The following communities and individuals are explicitly banned from using, hosting, modifying, or deriving any benefit from this Mod or any derivative works:
Banned Communities
• Lakeside RP
• 4th ID
• Any derivative, successor, affiliated, or rebranded communities originating from or operated by the above
Banned Individual
• TW3RKITMILEY
Any use of this Mod by the above parties is unauthorized, unlicensed, and constitutes a material violation of this Agreement.
11. Prohibited Hosting Providers (LoafHosts Restriction)
The use, hosting, loading, distribution, deployment, or operation of this Mod, in whole or in part, on servers, infrastructure, or services provided by LoafHosts is strictly prohibited.
This prohibition includes, but is not limited to:
• Hosting the Mod on servers rented through LoafHosts
• Running servers utilizing LoafHosts infrastructure
• Including the Mod in server deployments managed by LoafHosts services
• Loading the Mod through automated deployment tools provided by LoafHosts
• Indirect hosting through resellers or third parties utilizing LoafHosts infrastructure
• Mirroring or caching the Mod on LoafHosts-controlled systems
Circumvention Prohibited
Users may not attempt to circumvent this restriction through:
• Proxy hosting arrangements
• Third-party management services backed by LoafHosts
• File redirection, symbolic linking, or CDN mirroring
• Reuploading modified versions for use on LoafHosts infrastructure
• Any technical or administrative workaround designed to bypass this restriction
Responsibility of Server Operators
Server operators are solely responsible for verifying that their infrastructure, whether directly or indirectly, is not utilizing LoafHosts services.
Enforcement
Any use of this Mod on LoafHosts infrastructure constitutes unauthorized use and results in immediate termination of this license under Section 7. Upon termination, all copies must be removed immediately and use must cease.
