Variants :
Black beret – Worn in the Navy, by tank regiments and mechanized-unit tank battalions, as well as in armored-troops schools and training centers; also used in WLOP and Air Forces as part of special and work uniforms.
Maroon beret – Issued to airborne units, the 1st Assault Battalion, army-level special companies, and special companies within reconnaissance battalions.
Blue beret – Used by coastal defense units.
Dark Blue beret – Used as part of work and utility uniforms.
