Summary
Collection of tweaks and features designed to enhance hardcore and realism-focused gameplay.
Description
Some elements draw inspiration from other excellent mods but have been reworked for better balance with vanilla mechanics and a less punishing experience.
Nametags:
- Nametag render distance drastically reduced to ~6 meters.
- Maximum angle for nametag visibility decreased significantly.
- Platform icons is hidden, regardless of user settings.
- Rank icons added before player names, showing current rank.
- Nametags now require direct line-of-sight - they are now hidden behind walls if obstructed.
Character:
- Slightly reduced leaning speed.
- Stamina consumption and regeneration have been rebalanced.
- Character moves slower when carrying excessive weight.
Balance:
- RPG rockets can now be stored only in RPG specialist backpacks.
- AT launchers can no longer be stored in backpacks.
Map:
- Map marker limit increased to 100.
- Maximum characters per marker increased to 32.
- Marker author, platform, and visibility indicators are hidden.
- Removed restrictions on deleting other players’ markers.
- Player markers persist after players' disconnects.
- Current location hint removed from the map.
Other:
- Direct VON display is disabled.
- Expanded emote radial menu (F1) with additional gestures.
- Eyes now adapt to light and darkness more slowly for realism, but not excessively slow.
- Players reconnect with the same character after disconnecting.
- Kick votes are no longer faction specific.
