JTF8-OP-VII-Granit

The Main Intelligence Directorate has sufficient intelligence to determine the IRA terrorist org. is in the final stages of procurement of fallout material recovered from the detonation, most likely as leverage with the possession of a dirty bomb. The Nuclear material has already been harvested and refined by an unknown entity, who is now intending on selling the isotopes to the IRA off the coast of Finland, at 65.0009314 LAT, 26.2246521 LON. These exact isotopes directly tie the USSR to the detonation 7 days ago and eliminate any doubt of it being a NATO weapon. 

GRANIT (Spetsgruppa Vympel) and ANKER (313th OMBR) are tasked with asset recovery of OBJ AGONA and elimination of IRA and 3rd party dealers of the isotopes. GRANIT will be inserted via shipping container at the harbor where the deal is being processed. ANKER will infil the AO prior and initially provide support by fire. 

Due to extreme political sensitivity, GRANIT and ANKER will use SUPOs knowledge of terrorist activity on its soil as scapegoat for attack. Weapons to be used will explicitly not be chambered in 5.45X39, but older calibers and even western calibers for inevitable investigation. GRANIT and ANKER have 2 additional objectives unrelated to AGONA, that specifically give the impression of a terrorist attack. The follow-on objectives are marked on provided maps and are green lit for assault after AGONA is secured.
