Out Of Bounds Lightning

Summary

Out-of-bounds enforcement with escalating penalties and optional ZoneMarkers support. Early testing build.

Description

Out of Bounds Lightning is a lightweight boundary-enforcement mod designed to give server owners and mission makers a clear, immersive way to control playable areas without relying solely on warnings or soft restrictions.
The mod monitors player position relative to defined boundaries and responds with escalating consequences when those boundaries are violated. The goal is to discourage out-of-bounds behavior while keeping enforcement obvious, thematic, and server-authoritative.
Key Features
Server-side out-of-bounds enforcement
Escalating response for boundary violations
Visual and audio feedback for clear player messaging
Designed to work alongside other gameplay mods
ZoneMarkers Integration
Out of Bounds Lightning is designed to optionally integrate with the ZoneMarkers mod.
When ZoneMarkers is present, boundaries can be derived from zone marker layouts instead of relying on static or hard-coded limits.
(ZoneMarkers is not required; fallback behavior is supported.)
Current Status
🚧 In active testing / early development
Features and tuning are still evolving
Behavior may change between updates
Feedback and testing reports are welcome
This release is intended for testing, iteration, and early experimentation rather than final production use.

Commands:
#oob -live – forces the latch into live/MOB mode permanently (seeding grid disabled) until you run another command.
#oob -permaseed – forces the latch into seeding mode permanently (live grid disabled) until changed.
#oob -reset – clears the manual override so the latch goes back to automatic behavior: seeding stays on until the player-count threshold is exceeded, and then it flips to live mode by itself.
