C-47 Skytrain - The Legend Returns

The C-47 Skytrain - the military variant of the iconic Douglas DC-3 - served as the primary Allied transport aircraft of World War II. Widely known as the "Gooney Bird," it powered critical logistics, troop transport, medical evacuations, and massive airborne operations like D-Day, cementing its reputation as one of the most reliable workhorses in aviation history.

This mod brings an authentic C-47 Skytrain experience into Arma Reforger, built specifically for living history scenarios, cinematic reenactments, and immersive WWII transport operations.

Key Features
-Detailed Recreation: Authentic C-47 Skytrain model tailored for WWII scenarios and tactical transport gameplay.
-Authentic NACA Aerodynamics: Flight dynamics engineered from real-world NACA 2215 (root) and NACA 2206 (tip) wind tunnel airfoil polars.
-Realistic Flight Mechanics: A data-driven flight model factoring in weight, drag, atmospheric conditions, and engine performance to replicate heavy transport handling.
-Immersive Audio: High-fidelity soundscape by Sim Acoustics capturing the distinct roar of twin radial engines, airframe stress, and heavy mechanical feedback under load.
-Interactive Cockpit & Systems: Functional cockpit switches, circuit breakers, and interactive control systems.
-Scenario Ready: Purpose-built to fit seamlessly into historical milsim and cooperative multiplayer setups.
