SHADOW HAVEN STUDIOS (SHS) — ARMA REFORGER MOD LICENSE AGREEMENT
Version: 1.0
This License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between Shadow Haven Studios, hereafter “SHS”, and any person or entity that downloads, installs, copies, modifies, redistributes or otherwise uses any Arma Reforger mod, add-on, map, asset pack or related content published by SHS (collectively, the “User” or “You”).
By downloading, installing, using, distributing, or modifying any SHS Arma Reforger mod (“Mod” or “Mods”), You agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If You do not agree, do not download, install, use, or distribute the Mod.
1. Ownership & Copyright
1.1. All Mods, source files, models, textures, sounds, scripts, documentation, artwork, metadata, installer packages, and other materials expressly created and published by SHS (the “SHS Content”) are the exclusive property of SHS and are protected by international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
1.2. SHS retains all rights, title and interest in and to the SHS Content except for the limited rights expressly granted in this Agreement.
2. License Grant (Limited, Non-Exclusive, Non-Transferable)
2.1. Subject to Your compliance with this Agreement, SHS grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
a) download, install and use the Mod for personal, non-commercial gameplay with Arma Reforger; and
b) create personal modifications for your own use only where such modifications do not include or expose SHS Content in a way that competes with, clones, reproduces, or redistributes SHS’s original work.
2.2. Any use not expressly permitted by this Agreement requires SHS’s prior written permission.
3. Prohibited Uses
Unless You obtain SHS’s express written consent, You SHALL NOT:
3.1. Copy, clone, reproduce, mirror, fork, rebrand, repackage, or otherwise distribute SHS Content as your own or under a different author name.
3.2. Sell, sublicense, monetize, or otherwise commercially exploit any SHS Content or Mods (including via direct sales, paid DLC, paid access, “pay-what-you-want”, Patreon-gated content, trading, or in-game marketplaces).
3.3. Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, credits, attribution, or license files included with the Mod.
3.4. Publish or distribute modified versions of SHS Content that replicate, substantially imitate, or create a confusingly similar product to an SHS Mod without SHS’s prior written permission.
3.5. Package SHS Content with other content in a way that causes SHS Content to be redistributed as part of another product or collection without explicit permission.
3.6. Use SHS’s name, logos, or trademarks in a manner that implies endorsement, partnership, or ownership without SHS’s prior written permission.
3.7. Remove technical protections or attempt to circumvent digital rights management or integrity checks included in the Mod.
4. Derivative Works & Modder Collaboration
4.1. Derivative mods that incorporate substantial SHS Content require prior written permission from SHS and must include a clear, visible attribution to SHS.
4.2. If SHS grants permission for a derivative or collaborative project, SHS may require terms, attribution, revenue-sharing, or distribution restrictions as a condition of that permission.
4.3. Independent mods that merely interoperate with SHS Mods without including SHS Content (e.g., scripts that call public interfaces) and that do not replicate SHS’s assets are generally permitted, but You must not imply SHS endorsement.
5. Distribution & Hosting
5.1. You may only distribute SHS Mods from locations expressly authorized by SHS (official SHS mod pages, Reforger Workshop entries published by SHS, or other SHS-designated channels).
5.2. Mirroring, reposting, or redistributing SHS Mods on unauthorized third-party sites is prohibited and may result in immediate removal and further enforcement action.
6. Removal, Takedown & Enforcement
6.1. SHS reserves the right to suspend, disable, or remove any Mod, derivative, repost, or content that violates this Agreement. SHS may request removal from hosting platforms and pursue takedown procedures (including DMCA notices) when appropriate.
6.2. Violation of this Agreement may result in civil or criminal liability. SHS expressly reserves its rights to seek injunctive relief, damages, and recovery of enforcement costs, including attorneys’ fees.
7. Attribution Requirement
7.1. Any permitted distribution of SHS Content must retain the following in a plainly visible location (README, mod description, credits):
“© [2025] Shadow Haven Studios (SHS). All rights reserved.”
A link to SHS’s official mod page if available.
7.2. You must not provide false or misleading attribution.
8. Third-Party Content & Licenses
8.1. Some Mods may include third-party assets or code licensed separately. You agree to comply with any additional license terms that accompany such third-party components. Where a third-party license conflicts with this Agreement, the more restrictive terms shall apply to that component.
9. Warranties & Disclaimers
9.1. SHS provides Mods “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SHS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
9.2. SHS does not guarantee compatibility with any particular hardware, software version, or third-party modification.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SHS (and its officers, directors, employees and agents) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR USE OF THE MODS.
11. Termination
11.1. This Agreement is effective until terminated. SHS may terminate or suspend this Agreement and Your license immediately for breach or suspected breach.
11.2. Upon termination, You must cease all use of SHS Content and permanently delete all copies of SHS Content in Your possession or control, including backups, unless SHS instructs otherwise in writing.
12. Remedies
12.1. The remedies in this Agreement are cumulative. SHS is entitled to seek injunctive relief, specific performance, and any other remedies available at law or in equity to enforce its rights.
13. Export Controls
13.1. You shall comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations with respect to the download, use, and distribution of the Mods.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1. This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [insert jurisdiction — e.g., Your State/Country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
14.2. Any dispute arising under this Agreement will be resolved in the courts located in [insert jurisdiction], and You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
If you wish to change the governing law venue, or to have arbitration instead of court adjudication, contact SHS prior to using the Mod.

16. Miscellaneous
16.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between You and SHS regarding use of SHS Content and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements.
16.2. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force.
16.3. No waiver by SHS of any breach is a waiver of any other or subsequent breach.

To report suspected cloning or unauthorized distribution, and include a link and description of the infringing material. SHS will investigate and may pursue removal and legal action.
