Description
The RPK-16 is Kalashnikov Concern’s modern magazine-fed light machine gun developed from 2016. Chambered in 5.45×39mm, it blends LMG sustain with modern rifle ergonomics: long-stroke gas piston operation, removable barrels for LMG/assault roles, folding stock, Picatinny rails for optics and accessories, and compatibility with standard AK-pattern box magazines as well as a high-capacity 95-round drum. Designed to replace older RPK-74 roles while offering quick accessory and suppressor attachment.
