Summary
Chora (Afghanistan)
Description
Map created for the La Trinchera community
Chora (Pashto: "چوره") is set in a large river valley located near Kabul, Afghanistan. The landscape consists of mud-brick compounds and wide green fields surrounded by low walls, creating a somewhat claustrophobic gameplay experience. The compounds and walls cover most of the area, forcing vehicles to stick to roads and paths to avoid overturning or getting stuck.
This map is focused entirely on infantry combat. All aerial vehicles have been removed, and the mountain perimeter has been sealed off with indestructible walls. The idea is that, when creating the Conflict mode, this restriction remains in place to provide a different way of playing Arma, inspired by the gameplay style of Squad.
The map has a total size of 14 km², but the playable area is smaller, focused on the central valley.
