Description

Vietnam 2030 — Modern Conflict (NATO vs Russia)
This is a lightweight, server-ready Conflict scenario on a customised Vietnam map. The focus is authenticity and stability: stock Conflict systems (supply depots, relays, capture/construction, respawn) tuned to Arland/Everon defaults, plus targeted fixes to AI pathfinding and spawns.
What’s Inside
Terrain: Jungle canopy, rubber plantations, villages, bridges and muddy river lanes designed for infantry, light armor, and convoy fights.
Factions: NATO vs Russia (modern gear and tactics; balanced for asymmetric pushes and counter-attacks).
Near-Stock Conflict: CampaignSeizingComponent thresholds, economy, construction and logistics align with Arland/Everon so it “just feels right.”
AI & Pathfinding Fixes:
Rebuilt navmesh tiles in problem areas (villages, bridges, riverbanks, slopes).
Corrected spawn behavior (no more “runaways”): hold/defend behavior near spawn, sane usage ranges.
Waypoint/layout passes to keep defenders on-site and attackers on valid routes.
Lighting/Weather Pass: Subtle tweaks for readability under canopy while keeping a natural look (no gimmicks).
Why This Mod?
Minimalism first: No bloated scripts; sticks as close as possible to Arland/Everon Conflict logic.
Server friendly: Clean navmesh + spawn logic = fewer odd AI drifts, smoother firefights.
Crossplay: Works on PC & Xbox.
How to Play
Singleplayer/Local: Load the scenario from the Conflict list as “Vietnam 2030 — Conflict”.
Dedicated Server: Add this mod, select the scenario in your server UI (or set your scenario to the Vietnam 2030 Conflict mission). No special parameters required.
Dependencies
Required: Arma Reforger (base game), Conflict game mode.
Optional: Your favorite weapon/gear packs if a server owner wants variety (not required).
Known Issues / Notes
Extremely steep jungle slopes may still limit AI maneuver; we’ll keep refining local tiles.
If you edit the terrain, rebuild navmesh around the changed areas and save the world.
