Description
Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) – Adds a functional IFAK system that consolidates medical items into a single pouch with full inventory fidelity. The unused Soviet medical pouch is repurposed as an IFAK for USSR and FIA forces. The US currently uses a placeholder IFAK, but all factions are equipped with a working IFAK.
An IFAK can be temporarily borrowed from an unconscious casualty and used to provide lifesaving aid. The system is fully multiplayer-safe and server-authoritative, with safeguards to prevent duplication or item loss. If the casualty regains consciousness, the IFAK is automatically returned. If the casualty dies, the IFAK container is removed and its medical contents are dumped directly into the body’s inventory to avoid nested container looting issues.
Medical item weights have been adjusted to better reflect real-world values.
This mod is designed to feel natural within vanilla gameplay while improving medical logistics, teamwork, and immersion without changing how medical items are used.
