Description

The "Road House Spawn Proxy " is a lightweight but powerful modification for Arma Reforger designed to enhance tactical gameplay by preventing spawn camping. The mod works by intercepting a player's spawn request and performing a server-side check before allowing them to enter the game.
The core of the system is a proximity-based algorithm that continuously monitors the battlefield. If three or more hostile players are detected within a 30-meter proximity of any faction-owned spawn point, that spawn point is temporarily "contested" and becomes unavailable to the owning faction. This forces players to choose safer, more strategic spawn locations away from immediate threats.
The mod's logic is built using the non-destructive modded class and vanilla keywords, ensuring it cleanly integrates with the base game without overwriting essential files. This architecture guarantees long-term stability and compatibility with future game updates and other community-made modifications. The mod is highly performant, utilizing squared-distance calculations to minimize server load, making it suitable for all server sizes and player counts. The result is a more dynamic and engaging multiplayer experience where map control is crucial, and spawn points are not safe havens for attackers.
