Vanilla Expanded - BTR 80A

The BTR-80A is a modernized variant of the Soviet/Russian BTR-80 8x8 wheeled armored personnel carrier (APC). Introduced in the 1990s, the BTR-80A improves significantly on the base BTR-80’s firepower by replacing the original 14.5mm KPVT machine gun turret with a BPPU turret armed with a 30mm 2A72 autocannon and a 7.62mm PKT coaxial machine gun. The BTR-80A was eventually developed into the BTR-82, an upgraded version of the BTR-80A.

The BTR-80S is a similar variant, but uses the same 14.5 KPVT & PKMT as the BTR-80 in the base game. The BTR-80S is reserved for the MVD, which seems to be akin to the FBI & a Federal Police Force
