События начинают разворачиваться в 2008 году — после неудачной попытки госпереворота, устроенного ЧДКЗ в Южном Загорье. Организация была полностью разгромлена, а её военные преступления раскрыты. Партия потеряла уважение и доверие народа. Однако с того же года в стране начали вспыхивать протесты, направленные против русскоязычных чернорусов — даже тех, чьи предки жили на этих землях веками. Один из немногих регионов где осталось проживать 64 тысячи этнических русских , сохранившимся в Чернорусси, оставалась область Дубковица. Её население на 94% состояло из этнических русских, чьи семьи переселились сюда ещё во времена СССР. Но и там ситуация была далека от мирной: в регионе постоянно дежурили военные подразделения ЧСО, которые, мягко говоря, вели себя как оккупанты — мародёрствовали, грабили местных жителей и совершали многочисленные преступления против русскоязычного населения. В октябре 2013 года бывшие командиры ЧДКЗ, не согласные с прежней политикой организации, объединились и создали ополчение с целью защиты мирного населения. Они начали вести партизанскую войну — от поджогов складов с оружием до нападений на военные колонны ЧСО. В ответ на это в регионе было введено военное положение, но ЧДКЗ не остановились и продолжили набирать новых бойцов. К апрелю 2014 года ЧДКЗ превратилась в боеспособную армию, готовую дать отпор силам ЧСО. В том же месяце лидер организации обратился с заранее записанным видео сообщением к жителям Дубковицы и военным ЧСО. В своём обращении он заявил, что время преступлений против мирных граждан подошло к концу, и каждому солдату, который не сдаст оружие, останется только один путь — в гроб. Командир ЧДКЗ понимал: без боя ЧСО не покинут область, и потому он начал готовить бойцов к полномасштабному вооружённому конфликту. Задача казалась простой — захватить одну из деревень, чтобы использовать её как плацдарм для наступления на город и его освобождения от сил ЧСО. Однако ЧДКЗ не знали одного важного факта: после событий 2008 года Соединённые Штаты оказывали ЧСО техническую и военную помощь…

The events begin to unfold in 2008 — after a failed coup attempt orchestrated by the Chedaki (ChDKZ) in South Zagorie. The organization was completely crushed, and its war crimes were exposed. The party lost the respect and trust of the people. However, that same year, protests began erupting across the country — aimed at Russian-speaking Chernarussians, even those whose ancestors had lived on these lands for centuries.
One of the few remaining regions where Russian-speaking citizens still lived — around 64,000 ethnic Russians — was the Dubkovitsa region. Its population was 94% ethnic Russian, with families that had settled there during the Soviet era. But even there, the situation was far from peaceful. Military units of the CDF (Chernarussian Defense Forces) were stationed in the region, and they behaved more like occupiers — looting, harassing civilians, and committing numerous crimes against the Russian-speaking population.
In October 2013, former ChDKZ commanders, who disagreed with the organization's previous policies, came together and formed a militia with the goal of protecting the civilian population. They launched a partisan war — from burning down arms depots to ambushing CDF military convoys. In response, martial law was declared in the region, but the ChDKZ did not stop. They continued to recruit new fighters.
By April 2014, the ChDKZ had transformed into a combat-ready army, prepared to confront CDF forces. That same month, the leader of the organization released a pre-recorded video message to the people of Dubkovitsa and the CDF troops. In his speech, he declared that the time for crimes against civilians was over — and that any soldier who refused to lay down their arms had only one path left: a grave.
The ChDKZ commander understood that the CDF would not leave the region without a fight. He began preparing his troops for a full-scale armed conflict.
The mission seemed simple: capture one of the nearby villages and use it as a foothold for launching an offensive to liberate the city from CDF control.
However, what the ChDKZ didn't know was one crucial fact — since the events of 2008, the United States had been providing the CDF with technical and military support…
