[DHT] Fallujah - East/West

Fallujah, a city in Iraq’s Al Anbar province, became a major flashpoint during the Iraq War, especially in 2004. It was the site of two intense battles between U.S.-led coalition forces and Iraqi insurgents. The First Battle of Fallujah in April 2004 ended in a ceasefire and was seen as a setback for coalition forces. The Second Battle in November 2004 was one of the bloodiest urban battles for U.S. troops since Vietnam, marked by fierce house-to-house fighting. Fallujah suffered heavy destruction, and the conflict left deep scars on both the city and its residents.
