A new beginning – where it all began.

Welcome to Fresh Spawn Island, the very first released section of the Deerisle map ported to Arma Reforger. This island marks the geographic and symbolic starting point of the Deerisle project — based on the original 2018 version, now rebuilt from scratch with modern detail and fidelity.

In this Reforger release, you’ll experience the iconic spawn area from early DayZ Deerisle — now entirely reimagined:

Every cliff, rock and path has been carefully recreated or redesigned.

Structures, vegetation, and terrain have been reworked to fully leverage the visual and technical capabilities of Reforger.

Atmospheric lighting, dense forests, and subtle story-driven details bring the island to life like never before.

Current Status:
This is the first milestone in an ambitious long-term effort to fully recreate Deerisle in Arma Reforger. The current focus lies on quality, performance, and detail accuracy.
This island serves not only as a nostalgic entry point, but also as a testbed for terrain workflows, asset management, lighting setups, and future gameplay design.
