Rooikat

Tierpoort is located in Gauteng, South Africa. The main heart of the map is affectionately known as "Rooikat" to the South African Milsim Airsoft community were many airsoft milsim events are held in real life.

This map is semi-fictional in the sense of using the terrain and assets I have built from the ground up such as local species such as Baobabs and Acacias to create something I hope all find unique, using the real world terrain data as a platform with artistic license, focusing on locations purely based on "fun" and nothing historically correct.

[Features:]

1. A hand painted terrain. Paths, Rocks, Tree placement, Villages, have all been carefully painted "in" by hand. (This is a long term job that never ends)

2. Custom foliage assets created from scratch. Species include various Palms, Acacia thorn trees and Baobabs.

3. Underground bunkers, great for PvP. Sadly the AI in a PvE situation like to get "stuck" at times requiring a GM to delete or move them. I hope to have this fixed ASAP but for PvP they bring a great dimension to game play. They do work in PvE but a GM needs to keep eyes on them. (Thanks to Springbok for these, we hoped to test them further)

Rooikat and its work is under APL-ND License. This will change soon once I have released my Foliage pack as it has been R&D for over a year now on my own, trying to get these assets to fit with the vanilla foliage. I will release these assets when I am happy with them. I am not  "gate keeping" anything which I have been accused of by a certain community within the game for reporting them for ripping my hard work. Sorry. Not sorry. These assets will be provided as a pack on workshop when I am ready to do so.
