Description
This mod aims to improve the terminal ballistics and explosions to be more realistic.
This mod adds actual fragmentation simulation so beware of the performance impact on large population servers.
Current features:
- All grenades have individually simulated fragments.
- Added a small amount of fragmentation to M433 HEDP
- 12.7x99mm M20 APIT rounds have spalling
- Increased resiliency passthrough damage on all armored vests (you get knocked out easier)
- Reduced wood material penetration resistance (small arms can now penetrate small trees and .50 cals can shred wooden houses)
- Reduced brick material penetration resistance
- Reduced sand material penetration resistance
- Reduced glass material penetration resistance (Humvee glass is now penetrable by 556 and larger)
- Reduced 6B2 vest titanium plates penetration resistance
- Reduced metal material penetration resistance (affects steel helmets)
- Reduced spall penetration (to prevent penetrating 4 APCs in a row)
- Reduced HEAT penetrator effective travel (to also prevent penetrating 4 APCs in a row)
- Added dispersion to both M72A3 and RPG-7(PG-7VM) rockets
- Added slight fragmentation simulation to M72A3 and RPG-7(PG-7VM) rockets
- Added 5 second self-detonation fuze to PG-7VM
- Added dispersion to all mortar rounds
- Added fragmentation simulation to HE mortar rounds
- AT mines require .50 cal or larger to detonate from gunfire
- HE mortar rounds and RPG/M72 rockets can now be blown up with TNT or .50 cal and above
You can now create nasty IEDs by combining a HE mortar round with a remote detonated TNT block.
Armor vest values are designed to work with Realism Overhaul - Medical mod.
