Based on the ARMA III Contact DLC.
Description
This mod is not an official Bohemia Interactive Project. This contains/will contain. SFX,VFX, Props, Vehicles, and more to really bring in the atmosphere that the original DLC for Arma 3 Included. Created from scratch and with love were aiming to bring in a whole new experience to arma reforger in an area that has never been touched before. With many pre-existing entities and effects and with new ones the future development of this mod will continue to provide more and more for users from Sci-Fi to Military Simulation. The primary aim is for gamemasters to be able to make creative environments and let their imagination run free, this isn't just Contact... This is Arma.
This mod is still a WIP/Development Content will continue to roll out as more updates come out.
**Project Planning/Road Map**
1.) VFX-SFX: With the atmosphere of the Contact DLC revolving around a Sci-Fi Alien species, and a paranormal environment i am to provide the closest immersion experience as possible. The development of such an atmosphere is the primary objective at the moment, from Anomaly’s, Gravity Wells, Distortion fields, to even alien organic materials and effects both audio and visual this aims to ensure that the end goal for the experience as a whole is met.
2.) Props-Gamemaster: This focuses on allowing game masters to utilize all of the effects above and much more to provide a level of detail to their own scenarios in game using their own creativity. More props will be added ranging from closely related props and effects as seen in “Arma 3 Contact DLC” to new and enhanced effects to fill in the void of what felt like a teaser for something bigger.
3.) Equipment/Weapons: As seen in the DLC some items such as the Spectrum Device or the Promet 6.5mm are contained within, much of that and more will be added including deployable gear and new functional things to work with.
4.) Clothing: Whilst we cannot obtain the exact clothing used within the DLC i can try to modernize and adapt in our own way that works for us, and provide everyone with the protective gear they require to embrace this new atmospheric environment.
5.) Vehicles-Drones: The Implementation of the truck that came with and the UGV will be a huge topic down the road but yes that is all in sight.
6.) Scenario-Map: Both Vanilla factions down the road will have the ability to play as both BLUFOR and OPFOR from the DLC as well as a scenario and or Map will also be developed around this mod along side a multitude of other things to support like framework, or core features. Like I’ve Mentioned before yes “First Contact” will be a 100% implemented scenario to fall in line with the immersive experience.
