EOD-9 Bomb Suit

The EOD-9 Bomb Suit is specifically designed for EOD professionals to protect the user from various explosive ordnance threats to include explosive blasts, overpressure, fragmentation, impact, and heat and flame. This suit was made in collaboration with both active and veteran EOD technicians, providing realism and effective use for our large military, law enforcement, and first responder community.

- Blast Protection
- Fragmentation Protection
- Kinetic (bullet) protection rated at IIIA (4x rounds point-blank 5.56, 2x rounds 7x62x51 for knockout)
- Flame and incendiary protection
- Overpressure protection
- Complete body coverage | Two components: Helmet and Suit
- Suit is weighted, cannot sprint or walk fast.
- Integrated inventory for carrying various EOD equipment
- Weighted model for accurate physics sounds of the suit

This mod was developed for use in the VRT Joint Special Operations Command MILSIM unit, but is encouraged for use by all Arma communities. If you are interested in participating in our MILSIM or public operations servers, simply search "VRT" in the server browser.

- This mod adapts physics not currently supported by the enfusion engine, so some features are not entirely accurate. However, the features and capabilities of this suit were advised and supported by members of the EOD community (Thanks Chaos!).
