RHS - Content Pack 02

A DayZ-style zombie survival mod for Arma Reforger. You wash up on Everon as an unarmed civilian with nothing but the clothes on your back. Scavenge, hunt, craft and build to stay alive while hordes of the infected roam the island.
EARLY DEVELOPMENT - expect bugs. Feedback is very welcome.
THE INFECTED
Zombies live across the whole island, gathering in towns and wandering between them. Cleared areas stay quiet for a while before they fill up again.
They see and hear you. Gunshots carry a long way. Crouch and move slowly to sneak past.
Only headshots put them down for good. Body shots stagger them. Crippled zombies keep coming on their hands.
They can't open doors, but they will bash them down if they saw you go inside.
They smell fresh bodies and crowd round to feed. Drop a body and run, and you might get away.
Die without a headshot and get eaten, and you rise again later as one of them, wearing your old clothes.
SURVIVAL
Hunger, thirst, body temperature and blood. Clothing, weather, rain and fire all matter.
Raw meat and dirty water can make you sick. Cook on a campfire and boil your water.
Fill canteens at wells, pumps and sinks, or from rivers and lakes.
Bodies stay for an hour so you can get your gear back.
WILDLIFE AND HUNTING
Deer, cows, chickens, rabbits, foxes, crows, wolf packs and bears, each living where they belong.
Shot placement and round power matter. Animals ragdoll when they die.
Skin carcasses with a knife for meat. Cook it before you eat it.
Bears leave you alone if you keep your distance. Wolves hunt in packs, and you can hear them howling a mile away.
LOOT, WEAPONS AND VEHICLES
Loot spawns on shelves and furniture in buildings across the map. The coast is poor; inland and military sites are richer.
A large range of civilian and military weapons, ammo and attachments.
Melee weapons: hatchet, machete, hunting knife and police baton. Sneak up behind a zombie with a blade for a silent kill.
Wrecked and working vehicles around the island. Repair them with toolboxes and spare parts.
CRAFTING AND BASE BUILDING
Chop trees for logs, gather stones and tinder, and build campfires and tents.
Find a base flag, raise it and claim the land around it as your base. Bring your friends in as members.
Find a crafting table kit in industrial areas, then use logs, nails and scrap metal to build foundations, plank walls, windows, doors, floors, stairs, palisade walls with gates, and storage crates. Parts snap together so you can build multi-storey bases.
You need a hammer to build. Only members can build, open your doors or take parts down.
Raiders have to work for it. Bullets don't hurt your walls; it takes hours of chopping or a pile of explosives to break through. Guard your flag too: if someone holds it long enough with no member nearby, the base is theirs.
PERSISTENCE
Your character is saved when you log out: where you are, everything you carry, and your health. Dying starts you fresh.
Bases, their members and the contents of your crates survive server restarts.
