Ok, no player groups in MP (maybe for a hosting player - I don't care).
Build a Living Quarter and recruit the AI from any group you spawn there.
Now I understand why Reforger has had such a painfully slow progress and I see no great future for Arma4.

player AI group "should" now spawn when missing/destroyed and player at friendly base.
