Summary
Make a home. Find your wheels. Build a civilian life in Reoccupation.
Description
First, thank you to Johnny Kerner for creating FreedomFighters.
FF – Civilian Ownership is an optional expansion for FreedomFighters_Reoccupation, adding property ownership, home furnishing and a civilian vehicle market to your campaign.
A PLACE OF YOU TO OWN
Buy residential houses, from modest village homes to spacious town properties. Clearly identified gardens become part of your property, with boundaries shown on the map.
Furnish your home and garden with furniture, decorations, storage and everyday objects. Sell unwanted furnishings, establish a personal respawn location and own up to five homes.
House values reflect the building, garden, location and campaign situation. Death-squad attacks can depress the local market, while successful defenses restore confidence. Look out for daily offers.
Purchased homes also provide shelter in occupied territory: owners and guests can sleep indoors during curfew, subject to the usual safety and group-voting rules.
YOUR CAR, YOUR CHOICES
Visit fuel stations for changing selections of civilian vehicles, colours and daily deals. Buy a car, manage its keys and locks, or return a legally purchased vehicle for resale.
Stealing civilian vehicles brings consequences. Suspicion grows over time, and reported vehicles can attract unwanted attention at checkpoints. A fresh coat of paint buys you breathing room—but does not erase a vehicle’s stolen history. Stolen vehicles cannot be sold or stored in garages.
Military vehicles retain their existing key-taking and garage rules.
Requirements
Requires Reoccupation, Freedom Fighters and their dependencies. This mod can be added to an ongoing campaign. However, civilian cars you already "own" will be treated as stolen and will lose their virtual garage slot as well as special despawn protection.
