Description
# LHDF Shop - Smurfs
Connects the Smurfs Base Building System (SBB) to LHDF Shop: building plans, kits and breaching charges for sale, no-build zones, and a fix for SBB's periodic server freezes. Part of the Lost Hope Dynamic Framework (LHDF), built for the Lost Hope Survival server.
The mod adds a "Building supplies" category, shop type and trader to LHDF Shop. A Game Master places no-build zones where SBB refuses every placement. SBB normally searches the whole map for its build pieces every five minutes, which freezes the server for several seconds; this mod keeps a list of SBB pieces and territory computers instead. SBB's own options are set in a JSON file.
## Features
- 18 SBB items for LHDF Shop:
- 13 plans: territory claim ($2,500), floor, wall, window, door frame, ramp, roof ($150), half wall ($100), door ($300), gate ($600), storage box ($800), safe ($1,500), valuable safe ($3,000).
- 3 kits (at most 5 per trade): tier 2 upgrade kit ($1,500), tier 3 upgrade kit ($3,000), base repair kit ($800).
- 2 breaching charges (at most 2 per trade), restricted and sold only by the Black market: homemade ($4,000), military ($9,000).
- Category and shop type "Building supplies". Any trader can sell plans once its assortment includes the category.
- Base building trader (Game Master placeable): construction worker outfit, cannot be hurt, stands still, map marker on.
- No-build zone (Game Master placeable, Systems): circle (default radius 50 m) or rectangle. Inside, every SBB placement (plans, upgrade and repair kits, territory claim) is refused with SBB's hint "Building is not allowed in this area" and the plan is kept. Purple border while a Game Master edits. Shape and size are set in the Game Master tab "LHDF Shop Smurfs" and saved.
- SBB registry: territory cache rebuild, territory decay, offline raid protection checks and SBB's first save walk a list of SBB entities instead of querying the whole map.
- SBB's options in `ShopSmurfs.json` instead of Workbench attributes on the game mode.
## Required on server and clients
Yes. Server and clients build the shop data from the same item lists, the no-build zone border and the trader are shown on clients, and the SBB map marker setting applies on clients.
## Dependencies
- Arma Reforger
- LHDF Shop (and through it LHDF Core)
- Smurfs Base Building System
## Configuration
Settings live in `$profile:LHDF/<namespace>/ShopSmurfs.json`. On every start the server writes every key with its default to `_defaults/ShopSmurfs.json`. Items and prices are changed in the Shop's settings, `Shop.json`, under `items`, by prefab GUID.
Keys and defaults:
- `noBuildZones` (true): zones refuse placements. Off: zones exist but refuse nothing. Can be changed live in the Game Master "LHDF" tab.
- `sbbRegistry` (true): use the registry instead of SBB's whole-map queries. Off: SBB runs unchanged. Needs a restart.
- `memberBuildRadius` (50) and `outsiderBlockRadius` (100): SBB build radii in metres.
- `maxTerritoriesPerPlayer` (1) and `maxMembersPerTerritory` (6): SBB territory limits.
- `respawnDisableSeconds` (3600), `territoryDecaySeconds` (604800), `returnToBaseCooldownSeconds` (1800): SBB timers.
- `offlineProtectionCheckSeconds` (300) and `offlineProtectionDelaySeconds` (3600): SBB offline raid protection.
- `territoryGroupSwitching` (true) and `territoryGroups` (true): SBB territory groups. `territoryGroups` takes full effect after a restart.
- `groupMapMarkers` (true): SBB's map markers of the own position and the territory group (the blue arrow).
## Known limitations
- The registry replaces SBB code and is written for SBB 1.0.51. After an SBB update it may need an update too; set `sbbRegistry` to false to run SBB unchanged.
- SBB's options in `ShopSmurfs.json` override the values set on SBB's manager in Workbench.
- No-build zones are not created around traders automatically; a Game Master or the scenario places them. Pieces already standing in a zone stay.
