Audit Guard for FF

Summary

Existing lifecycle and saved-hotbar guards, with bounded automatic cleanup progress and pressure accounting. Experimental FF extension.

Description

# Audit Guard for Freedom Fighters 0.1.5

Independent original extension requiring Freedom Fighters. GUID 26AF85C3EF4DF081; project FFLifecycleGuard. GM Spawn Pacing is a separate mode-independent addon.

## Repairs and diagnostics

0.1.5 adds primitive automatic cleanup progress and sampled registered-body pressure summaries through the existing collector Update, at most once per 30 seconds. No second queue, RPC, world census or parent implementation is added. Local-removal confirmation checks the existing world and registry after the native delegate; it does not prove client replication delivery. Arrivals, eligible backlog, oldest eligible age and per-cell debt remain unknown. Final partial summaries can be lost at teardown. Automatic cleanup still admits at most 32 inspections and 2 native/removal metadata operations per collector update. Existing admission and protection rules are unchanged.

Saved quickbar restoration: after the original 500 ms delay, unresolved valid item IDs get a 30-second total window, at most 120 checks at 250 ms intervals. Empty slots remain empty. Parent apply runs once only when every valid ID resolves and the alive controlled character, ownership and slot count still match. Any quickslot mutation, replacement restore, control/ownership change, death or teardown cancels pending restoration. This includes automatic population and no-op edits. Initially unready control is rejected. No inventory or extra RPC is created. Fresh respawn use of this saved-load path remains unverified.

Saved-character completion rejects missing/replaced controllers, mismatched saved data, missing owners and incompatible pending targets before parent FF completion. Completion is remembered only after the parent returns normally and native server control matches the loaded character; a matching later handover can supply that signal. Verified completed callbacks skip the repeated outer post-handover step; unresolved/aborted attempts retain parent fallback. Pending handover must match target/controller. Fresh native spawn and no-pending-map callbacks retain delegation. Own records release at disconnect, game end and cleanup.

The own retained save-data reference releases when parent load returns normally with no pending/bound target. Successful, deferred and nested replacement loads retain behavior. Stale parent loading-map entries and aborted calls remain outside this rule.

Identity initialization returns false if the native identity manager is missing; otherwise the original writer is unchanged. This conditional fault was not seen in the incident logs. No new save fields or wire format. The backend audit attaches its own game-end callback once and never after its own stop.

## Limits and acceptance

Experimental lifecycle repair; not a proven stall, crash or FPS fix. Native reliable queues and target-dispatch failures are not repaired. Parent callback adapters and five-second timers remain installed; callable entry is guarded, not cancelled. Generations are bookkeeping, not callback tokens. Identical callbacks reused across cycles, client control acknowledgement and native OnDelete corruption cannot be certified.

No helicopter persistence, traffic transaction or nullable interaction implementation is replaced. Restricted-parent findings remain author-facing notes. No parent code/artwork, private evidence, dependency material, save format, damage or ownership implementation is redistributed. No pooling, background threads, sleeps, network identity stripping or custom deletion RPCs.

Compilation, package, publication, listing and gameplay acceptance are separate. Verify marker 0.1.5; test saved join, fresh spawn, inventory/quickslots, death and two respawns, GM possession/return, rejoin and late load fallback. Remain controllable for 60 seconds after each respawn. Compare cleanup/client symptoms separately from server FPS. Compilation or no logged errors does not establish a Reason 6 fix.
