Summary
Fungal organisms have been reported near settlements and abandoned ground. Small clawed forms travel in groups, while larger bodies stand above the canopy and release others from their tissue.
Description
Reports describe fungal organisms with layered caps, pale branching tissue and long claws. The smaller Dewcap and broad-capped Sporewarden pursue people at close range. They are often found together, although their relationship to ordinary fungi remains uncertain.
The Mycelial Spire remains rooted in place and releases Dewcaps and Sporewardens around it. Destroying the parent stops further releases; organisms already outside continue moving independently. The much larger Fungal Titan crushes nearby prey with its feet. Living tissue fills the spaces behind its chest lattice.
The luminous Mycelial Empyrean stands above the surrounding trees. Its observed attacks include Halo of Ruin, Pale Benediction and Sporefall. This form remains a work in progress, with combat and multiplayer presentation still being improved.

Find the creatures in Game Master. Dewcap and Sporewarden are also available in groups of 8 and 16. The Spire's properties control continuous or finite releases, wave size, interval, alive limit, radius and creature mix; set Spawning to Running to begin. Separate creature durability settings are available under Creatures. Requires Creature Melee AI 1.8.0. Other Creatures addons and Project Outbreak are optional.
