In the hills of Kunar Province, insurgents get a mortar ready for the next attack in this great shot by DIMKII. The framing is well done, and the depth of field and lighting really help sell the mood. A simple setup, but very well done and easy to get pulled into.

The FIA gather in the old mines of Kolguyev, but whatever they’re planning definitely feels anything but old. Really love the setup of this scene, with the lighting and composition making it feel like you're part of the moment. Big thanks to Archer for sharing it. This shot really makes us want to jump into some Combat Ops too.

This series of images by sirowani_1 was too clever not to share. The VHS filter really grabbed our attention and sells that 1980s vibe so well. It gives the whole set a cool retro feel, like you’re watching old footage pulled straight from the Cold War.

This shot almost feels like a wallpaper. Zimmer makes great use of negative space here, with the Soviet forces featured in a way that feels both dramatic and strangely quiet. There’s a real sense of mysticism to it.

A familiar name by now, but yepperzz does it again with not one, but two fantastic artworks we had to share. They almost feel like two sides of the same battle, showing U.S. forces pushing into contact from very different but equally interesting angles. The lighting and subtle effects really help sell the shots, and together they tell a great little story.

COM-DEV
DarcChopper lets AI pilots finally take to the skies. Allowing them to fly patrols, air-to-ground attacks, rocket runs, troop drops, and more. It’s especially handy for Game Masters and scenario makers, since helicopters can be spawned in and controlled with waypoints, and the system is built to work with modded aircraft too. It’s still a work in progress, but it already opens the door for much more dynamic air activity in Reforger.
You can find all the documentation for it on GitHub, and follow its progress or ask questions on Discord. For a quick look at it in action, check out the showcase video by Task Force Gaming.
Looking for some competitive game modes with your friends or unit? Tac Ops PVP is built for players who want high-stakes multiplayer where teamwork actually matters. Inspired by the old America’s Army 2 gameplay, it turns Reforger into a round-based 15v15 experience with one life per round, locked roles, focused objectives, and no room for careless play. It’s a great pick for organized groups or anyone wanting slower, more tactical matches over the usual Conflict chaos.
If that sounds like your kind of fight, download it from the workshop and set it up on a server. You can also jump into their Discord to follow updates and find matches.

If you’ve wanted to get into more cinematic-looking artwork but found the process a bit intimidating, Screenshot Toolbox is a great place to start. This handy Workbench tool makes setting up custom poses much easier, thanks to its Bone Manipulator, which lets you move character bones directly in the viewport in real time. It’s a huge help for screenshot artists, cinematic creators, or anyone trying to build more detailed scenes without the usual workflow. Definitely worth a look, and who knows... maybe your next work could end up featured in a future COMRAD.

Project Argus is a pretty ambitious work-in-progress toolkit designed to bring real command-and-control gameplay to Arma Reforger. It goes beyond the game itself, offering a browser-based platform where leaders can plan operations, draw and share tactics, track units, manage intel, coordinate teams in real time as missions unfold, and much more. With features like live map overlays, AI-assisted data, and structured mission planning, it’s perfect for milsim groups seeking a more organized, immersive experience from briefing through execution.
It’s currently limited to select groups, but you can apply through their site, and it’s definitely one to watch if your unit wants to up their operational planning and scenario making. For a better look at what it can do, check out the full showcase video on YouTube.
COM-OPS
Speaking of milsim groups, there are plenty out there always looking for new players. Whether you’re after laid-back sessions with friends or more serious, structured operations, there’s a community for just about every style of play. Some groups, like Task Force Kangaroo, even have members with real-world military experience that helps add an extra layer of authenticity. If you’re looking to find your people, check in-game, browse community hubs, or ask around in the Arma Discord.

If you somehow missed it… Farma Reforager is right around the corner! Announced on April 1st, and yeah… we’re definitely plowing ahead with excitement for this one.
COM-VIDEO
In his latest video, TheTacticalBrit breaks down why Reforger is hitting a new level in 2026, showcasing just how immersive things have become on modern WCS servers. Give it a watch and check out his channel for more awesome gameplay videos.
WillfromWork heads back to the battlefield, starting with the most important aspect of war: logistics. Watch the chaos as he makes his way up to taking control of the skies. It’s a great showcase of how one session can turn into a crazy experience across multiple roles.
JereZiii turns into an absolute nightmare for the enemy in this sniper run, picking them apart with his suppressed .408. He even runs out of ammo at one point and gets up close and personal.
Ratmothy and Ratismus jump into a Spearhead Ultra Hardcore server, and things get intense fast as they battle over a single strip of forest. It turns into a brutal, almost too-real fight, going trench to trench with nonstop pressure on both sides. If you’re into raw, immersive combat moments, then you'll want to sit down for this one.
