SpearHead

If playing a server as realistic as possible is your wish, SpearHead Ultra Hardcore (or UHC) should be your next session. Well-known in the community for the no-hands-held approach to combat. Focus (zoom) has been removed, nametags are nowhere to be seen, suppression is in full effect, in-game sounds have been turned all the way to 11, drones are buzzing around with deadly precision, and ACE Medical is ruthless. This experience will test your skills. You will die many times. Each time you do, your movement will get better. You will learn to navigate the microterrain, you will make sure to keep up with the platoon's comms, and you will appreciate your life a whole lot more. After all, spawning is only allowed at Main Operating Bases far from the frontline.
And of course, the winter theme has made it to the world of SpearHead as well. Their terrains have been winterized, so get your winter camo on and watch out for red, green, blue, or yellow tape. Friendly fire - isn't.

ArmaDudes

For a more relaxing but still intense combat scenario, try out ArmaDudes. They are running multiple instances of cooperative (PvE) conflict scenarios in which you fight over the snow-covered island of Kolguyev against a ruthless AI that fights back, captures already secured FOBs, and comes in high numbers. The Christmas spirit is in full force on the ArmaDudes servers with Christmas trees around every corner.
Enjoy vast customization of your weapons and character with the help of Bacon Loadout Editor, modern-themed uniforms and weaponry, and an overall chill atmosphere. Pun fully intended. If you want to enjoy the immersive combat of conflict, but with a slightly more forgiving enemy force, search for ArmaDudes in the server browser.

The Worst Case Scenario community needs no introduction, as any Arma Reforger player has heard of it by now. A packed set of almost twenty individual servers, a modern theme, endless possibilities for customizing your character and weapons, and bespoke mods for their gamemodes make it one of the most reliable communities to join.
For the holidays, the founders have decided to go a step further and bring the spirit of the season to all their players. A snowy blanket covers all their terrains, such as New Everon, New Kolguyev, Serhiivka, Belleau Wood, and Rostov. Each faction gets to wear either a red or a blue Santa hat along with newly-created winter camo uniforms to blend in with the environments.
Last but not least, you may get lucky and be visited by Santa Claus on his jet-powered sled, giving out gift boxes with randomized presents within. Is it going to be a supply drop with a .50 caliber sniper? Or a gunship helicopter? How about a minigun and rocket pod-equipped Šárka 105? Join a W.C.S. server and find out. It's well worth the queue times!

COLD FRONT

Another cooperative (PvE) server running Conflict against AI defenders and attackers is the Cold Front. Ideal for anyone wanting a lightly modded scenario that stays true to the theme of the 1980s.
Some of the weapons available to you are taken from the Make Arma Not War 2025 asset category winner, the British Forces mod, along with the beautifully crafted ARMA-RY weapons. The loadouts stay grounded, and so does the combat. What's most important for us in this list is the terrain used. Another Make Arma Not War 2025 asset category contender, Novka, which has rightfully secured its 4th place, takes the winter theme to the next level. It is not just a conversion of an existing terrain. Novka has been created as a winter-themed terrain from the ground up, with snowy weather, accumulating snow on the ground, aurora borealis, blizzards, and frozen bodies of water.
A beautifully crafted terrain that deserves your attention, so look up Cold Front in the server browser and take in the scenery.
