Cover image of Peer Tool and Workbench: Missing Executables in Experimental Build

Attention Modders!

We want to inform you of some issues in the current 1.1.0.15 Experimental version of the game.

The issues in question relate to debugging capabilities within the Arma Reforger Workbench and Peer Tool. Since the 1.1.0.15 Experimental Update, the Peer Tool cannot connect to the host server instantiated by Workbench. This does not mean the feature has been removed. Rather, it is a security measure that has been temporarily implemented.

Workbench is supposed to allow connections from a specific type of game client and server client with debugging and diagnostic capabilities. This is so that your modding environment can be further enhanced with tools that will allow you to develop both in the Peer Tool and Workbench environment as well as on a true dedicated server environment along with peer clients coming directly from the actual game.

The current problem lies in multiple special executables missing from the present experimental build. These will be included in one of the upcoming releases. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope you will enjoy the enhanced debugging and diagnostic capabilities in the future update.

More detailed explanations of what these changes provide will be presented in an upcoming Modding Update that will coincide with the next Major Update, so stay tuned!
