Community Radar #27

Welcome to the latest Arma Reforger Community Radar, or as we also call it, #COMRAD. We're excited to showcase another incredible community content for everyone to enjoy. Let's blast right into it!

COM-ART

Missile inbound! This shot from atom.fliege comes in hot, and we’re seriously impressed, especially with this being their first time using the Workbench tools. It’s always awesome seeing creators jump in, experiment, and come out with something this cool. We’re looking forward to seeing what they make next as they keep learning.

There’s always something to explore in the tombs of Anizay, but whatever lurks below might be more than these soldiers bargained for. This image has a great sense of mystery, like the moment right before things go very wrong. Big thanks to Virtual Force for sharing this one.

Of course, the Soviets have set up another roadblock, and Ghostovich captures it so well. The composition and practical details make it feel so well done. Now we’re left wondering how long this position will hold before things inevitably kick off.

With the 1.7 update bringing the FIA into Conflict, this shot by SpartanKilla felt like the perfect way to set the tone. There’s a calmness to it, as if something is brewing, but the lighting and view of Kolguyev’s mountain landscape are beautifully composed and great mood-setters.

COM-DEV

The Bundeswehr Mod has officially made its first release for Arma Reforger, bringing modern German forces into the game after months of development. This first version lays the groundwork with infantry equipment, weapons, uniforms, protective gear, and the Dingo 2 light armored vehicle. It’s a great pick for groups looking to build modern Bundeswehr scenarios. Try it out and follow their Discord for future updates as the mod continues to grow.

TepacheLoco and the ARMA-RY team are back with another Cold War-friendly addition: a break-action, single-shot 12-gauge shotgun. It may be simple, but with birdshot, buckshot, slugs, and even a knife bayonet, it looks like a ton of fun for FIA scouts, scenario makers, or anyone wanting a close-range option. Like the rest of ARMA-RY, it’s built to fit Reforger’s 1989 setting and to give other modders a solid foundation for their own factions and scenarios. Grab it from the Workshop and check out their Discord for more updates.

Mogadishu by KIOK returns to Reforger, bringing a dense urban battlefield from the creator of Kunar Province. Known worldwide for the events that inspired Black Hawk Down, this terrain is perfect for close-quarters fighting, convoy ambushes, rooftop overwatch, and chaotic city missions. If your group is looking for a gritty urban warfare setting, this is definitely one to load up and explore.

Advanced AI Command, made by Green Phosphorus, a super handy tool for anyone who wants more control over AI squads without facing the usual command limitations. Just open the map, click a friendly squad, and start giving orders for movement, formations, stances, fire control, vehicles, convoys, or even building assaults. It works in singleplayer, World Editor, and Game Master, making it great for mission makers or players who want to run bigger AI-supported operations. If you’ve ever wanted your AI to actually follow a plan, this one is absolutely worth trying. Follow along on Discord for any updates as well!

COM-OPS

We always love seeing the community bring Arma looks to life, and this FIA-inspired cosplay is a fun one. Great work by CoconutCossack, and we’d love to see more real-life Arma fits like this.

We recently launched RHS Modder Supporter Pack, featuring the legendary Red Hammer Studios. RHS has been creating authentic, high-quality military simulation content for the Arma community for over two decades, and this pack is a way to show your support if their work has been part of your sessions, servers, or screenshots. You can choose from three price options, all with the same bonus digital items, with the majority of net proceeds going directly to the modders. This is just the first of more Modder Supporter Packs to come, highlighting different creators and teams across the community.

COM-VIDEO

Something strange is happening in the "Zone," and BlueTheRobot goes in to investigate the new 2.0 version of the ARMST Mod for Arma Reforger. This work-in-progress, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-inspired experience brings anomalies, survival atmosphere, and even mutants. Give the video a watch to see just how game-changing this mod is already becoming.

Speaking of game-changing environments, Everon feels a little different this time as Jarskie heads into ReforgedZ, a modern DayZ-style survival experience built in Arma Reforger and inspired by the original Arma 2 DayZ mod. Check out the video and take a look at ReforgedZ if you’re ready to survive, build, fight, or betray.

Sometimes, one sniper is all it takes to throw an entire army off balance. In this video, MB93 heads behind enemy lines with a massive rifle, picking off unsuspecting players, disrupting logistics, and causing all kinds of trouble before things even escalate into a bit of attack helicopter action. Give it a watch and check out his YouTube channel for more sneaky, high-impact Reforger gameplay.

With last month marking the anniversary of D-Day, King Alex heads to the Echoes of Hell server to experience a recreation of Omaha Beach and the push toward Carentan. Using authentic World War II weapons, watch as he tests whether real Operation Overlord-style tactics can survive the chaos of the server. Watch the operation unfold to see what WW2 in Reforger can feel like.
