Description
This is a refinement mod of Overthrow by Erdfuchs. Overthrow is a mod developed by Aaron Static. Note: Many major improvements in the latest updates of Overtrow by Aaron Static made some changes in this mod meaningless and they have been removed or adjusted accordingly.
The most important changes of Overthrow Refined at a glance: Prices overworked (generally higher and more conclusive prices of everything), more variety in soldiers on radio stations, longer persistent corpses/items, more starting gear and money, inclusion of all Vanilla vehicles in all colors, additional placeable items (mainly for immersion and roleplaying), timescale-refinements to make nights shorter and dusk and dawn slower, adaption of fuel consumption of vehicles, higher penalty for dying to make players stay more cautious and motivated to stay alive.
Changes compared to vanilla overthrow:
· Set up a fireplace and chairs to talk, plan, and rest. Also available: Table, bottles, radio, clock, petroleum lamp (all collected on server restart).
· Time-Acceleration at Day 4x, dusk and dawn 3x, Night 32x = shorter nights! (thanks to Partyzan!).
· More coherent product range in the stores: medical products only in drugstores, no backpacks in supermarkets.
· Higher variety of soldiers protecting radio stations (carrying different weapons). Randomization spread enhanced.
· Garbage Collection (despawning) of dead bodies, items and destroyed cars set to 45 minutes.
· Fuel-Consumption of vehicles 4x.
· First game set up starts earlier in the morning (05:30 AM, for immersion)
· Bus-travel 50 $ per KM (all difficulties), making it more attractive to use your own car.
· Fast travel is free (all difficulties)
· Respawn (dying) is more expensive depending on difficulty (easy: 500 $, normal: 1000 $, hard: 2000 $, extreme: 2000 $), so try to stay alive
· All reforger vehicles in all colors available.
· All weapons, attachments and ammo available at gun dealer (also opposing faction)
· Civil cars can be bought on gas stations and FOB/bases.
· Illegal vehicles can only be bought at FOB/bases.
· Vehicles are generally more expensive but prices are more conclusive.
· Starting cash is higher: 1000 $ (all difficulties).
· Starting equipment (M9 with 2 mags, PM with 2 mags, grenade, binoculars, explosive, watch).
· Taxes income set to 20 (all difficulties).
· Gun dealer buys everything, but pays only 20% of value (all difficulties).
· Higher prices for weapons and equipment, making it more attractive to steal stuff from the enemy.
· Posters cost 20$.
· Setting up the tent (fast travel point) costs 2000 $.
· Ammunition-Box cost 2000 $.
· FOB cost 20.000 $.
· Equipment on FOB (tents, watchtowers, lights) is slightly more expensive.
